Just a few of the regular questions I get about wedding cakes. See my answers below 👇🏼

- When should I book my wedding cake?

I always recommend booking your cake as soon as you’ve got a venue booked and an idea of guest numbers. Ideally at least a year is what we ask for. This gives us time to have consultations and plan your design and tweak as we go. It also gives you time to set aside a budget for your dream cake.

- Do Dummy tiers save money?

Not entirely, no! They will save on wasted cake if you’d like centrepiece cake, but don’t have hundreds of mouths to feed. However, dummy tiers are still expensive for us to buy and it’s the decorating that takes the time and makes up most of the cost. For saving money, you can opts for fresh or silk blooms or have a simpler design overall.

- What size cake do I need?

I recommend feeding around 80% of yours guests (unless you’re serving cake as dessert) 80% seems to be the magic number where there’s enough cake to go around, but you shouldn’t have tonnes left over ☺️

The biggest congratulations to the most gorgeous couple Jamie & Rachel who got married at yesterday.

I was supposed to be there celebrating, but a broken down car had other ideas 😔 Dad saved the day and drove a nearly 6 hour round trip to get this beauty here in one piece 🥰💗

Biggest congratulations to .perry23 and Ben who married a couple of weeks back 😍

A gorgeous, tall two tier with subtle marbling and gold flecks. Finished with stunning blooms from 🥰 When using fresh blooms on your wedding cake, quality is key. I’ve had some sad flowers left for me when I turn up at venues, but India always leaves me a selection of beauties as stunning as the rest 😍💗
