2024 season now CLOSED.
These are my last pickings for a few small bouquet orders. There will be no more Friday flowers or orders until April 2025. That's nature and seasonal produce.
THANK YOU to all my customers, followers and supporters. It's been a really tricky growing season (the worse since I started in 2021) and I was working full time and studying which took priority this year.
I'm excited for the coming year as I'm already further forward with the seedlings in the greenhouse for next year and feeling more organised with more time to put into the flowers now I'm back to part time working at my other job.
The pictures on the grid might be more gardening and sowing related and less bright flowers for a while as we enter the slow season.
See you (hopefully) for Easter 2025!
In the meantime, if you have any jars to return or are collecting any for me, the porch is always open for drop offs.

It's that seed saving time of year!

These are scented stock seeds, and I'm also working on some Bells of Ireland this afternoon.

I've got lots of seedlings in the greenhouse that I'm trying to save from some annoying creature that seems to like digging them up, not necessarily eating them though.
Yellow the cat has been deployed, but these are cunning, and the moment she's not on night duty in there, then they're back. Grrr.
Need to buy more chilli flakes as they seemed to work previously. Cayenne pepper isn't cutting it!

It's also our beautiful dogs birthday today ❤️

C&C 24.08.24
I had the honour and pleasure of flowering their wedding on what ended up being an incredibly wet summer day, but this meant all the flowers moved indoors and the barn was so full of flowers that the impact was breathtaking. Every table and windowledge was adorned.

I am lucky enough to call Chloe and her mum Louise, friends from my village (found through the love of my home grown flowers), so it was extra special indeed.

One of the 10 large jar arrangements gone out this weekend (I forgot to take pictures of the others!).

Being sustainable is about using as much reusable material as possible. The small jars are all old jam/coffee/sauce jars. The best larger jars come from large gherkin jars or Douwe Egberts 400g jars. If you are local and use any of these, rather than putting them in the recycling bin, please consider dropping them to me for repurposing (clean and ideally without labels if possible). You can leave them in my porch or on the bottom shelf of the trolley when it's out.

If you have jars that you've bought flowers from me in, then these are definitely the right size, so they're great ones to return. ♻️

Flower pause. Due to the cold weather and the end of the tulip season, I am having to pause the flowers for a few weeks. There will be no Friday Flowers and I will be unable to offer bouquets for the moment. The foxgloves, lupins and alliums are in waiting amongst others, but it's just too chilly, so they are enjoying an extended sleep! As with most things, I'm sure it'll be worth the wait. It makes you appreciate the seasons a little more and how ultimately mother nature decides for us! Come on Sun though! 🌞 Happy weekend flowery friends 💐
