Exactly 3 weeks to go! Have you booked yet? Better hurry as we're filling up fast! Welcome to the first Sussex Soul & Dance Weekender, 2nd-4th August at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Felbridge, East Grinstead.

On the Friday night we're delighted to be doing the launch party for Cornell "C.C." Carter's new album, "Expressions Of Soul" with Cornell doing two sets from 9.00pm with an exclusive set from the new album and his main set with all his existing bangers. This guy is not to be missed!

On the Saturday night we're blessed to bring you two of the UKs biggest Soul & Funk acts, Light Of The World and Loose Ends LIVE and DIRECT in the heart of Sussex in the grounds of the wonderful Crowne Plaza Hotel.

On the Sunday we'll be having a cool afternoon session and then the after-party on the Sunday night. Fri & Sat Weekend deals still available and Thurs-Sun long weekend packages are still available at the moment. Starpoint Radio applied for one of the first Special Events Licences to broadcast at the Legendary Southport Weekender, I think it was November 1991 we had just applied for Restricted Service Licences the same year from Windsor Safari Park, Alex Lowes heard about the broadcast and invited Starpoint to broadcast, DJs at WSP included Rod Deerlove, Steve Davis (ex snooker world champion) Jasper the vinyl J***y.

It was a pleasure being there every April & November

Shutting the site at Southport follows the closure of holiday parks at Prestatyn and Camber Sands.
