Fancy a coffee? Dunelm has launched their coffee shop today in Cwmbran and we were asked to provided balloon arches to mark the event.
Of course we couldn't resist a toasted teacake and a flat white later in the day. Yum!

Attended the Ministry of Discomfort (RGH) this week for another session of the well-known party game Chemo Chemo. An exhilarating experience involving latex gloves and a catheter. Takes your breath away.

At the halfway point now and no ill effects.

We were delighted to donate a big box of balloons to the children of an African village and as you can see, they were delighted. Not sure that they get many balloons (if any). My thanks to James Kirby for delivering them as part of his mission to the village.

On Monday we said goodbye to an old friend of nearly 50 years. A friend who listened to me when I needed to talk and who often needed my attention at any hour of the day and night. When I wasn't there this friend left messages for me. Very often the friend gave me advice regarding my computer and warned me of impending arrest and other penalties.
The friend? My landline telephone. I would invite all scammers to call me on that number. The phone is on the hall cupboard, completely disconnected and for decorative purposes only.

We are about to go to full fibre broadband and so from 15th May 2023 we will no longer have a landline telephone. We will therefore be using our mobile number 07929403838 which will be available 24/7. We can also be contacted by email, and via our page.
