After 4 years of trading & only just opening my beautiful small boutique I'm distraught to have to say that I am handing in the towel.
Although i absolutely can never imagine doing anything else, I have over the past few months declined with my mental health & therefore feel there's no other choice but to focus on getting myself better. This decision has not been taken lightly, I've worked so hard to get BB where it is today.
It's been such an unbelievably unforgettable experience. To say Beaux Bridal was the only bridal shop to succeed as mobile in Yorkshire is such an achievement. I was so proud to then be able to open a small boutique, put so much effort into designing it, making it & watch it turn into exactly how I imagined it. But being truthful with you, I have struggled with my mental health due to personal reasons & I can no longer keep up the act of smiling when I feel too low. My work was my life, I have enjoyed every minute of it (even with the bridezillas😄) but to get myself feeling like me again i need to step back from Beaux Bridal.
I am extremely grateful to everyone that has supported Beaux Bridal & my family that have helped more than anyone could know.

⚠️REAL TALK⚠️
I don't do this often but I've now got to the point i feel something needs to be stated. People may think because i have a bridal shop that money is coming in left, right & centre. Trust me, its not. I do not take a wage at all! I am trying to re-establish my business after no longer being able to do the mobile option.
I have ALL my dress prices at the absolute minimum & my alteration costs are extremely low to help brides not spend an absolute fortune as everything is ridiculously costly now, I wanted to make a business that has the bride in mind!
Thing is, I put so much effort & work into this & I'm absolutely not getting anything from it. So when I have customers not paying me because they pay other suppliers or just do not have the money even though contracts have been signed with me it's like a punch in the stomach for me.
Please know, I sympathise & I do understand how hard it is to pay for bills etc let alone a wedding aswell but please know that this is not a franchise like wed2b or another big national shop, my shop is a small business. I manage everything on my own. I take no wage at all. Even when I'm at home I work spending hours making social media ads.
I have payment plans as an option to take the stress off brides & I'm more than happy for breaks or pauses to be put on them if needed. It's the not paying at all that I'm not happy about. Expecting me to be ok with not having my income even though I have put all my effort into all my appointments to ensure everyone has an amazing time. It wouldn't be ok for anyone to do the work then not get paid so why is it ok for brides to say this?
I'm sorry I have had to put this on, as I've said I don't like to but it's happening more often now & I'm trying to do my best!
