This past week has been a blast (a cold blast) as we built 7 linked tipis for Wynyard Hall in for their Christmas shopping weekend.

It Genuinly feels like has begun once we start this event. X

Here’s an interesting thing, ish:

We now don’t need a grass surface to safely build our tipis. Any surface will do. 👍🏼

We have developed a system that links the wooden structure at the base and incorporates metal stands to support heavy ballast.

Thank you to our friends at WoodQuirk who did a bit of Metal-Quirk on this one.

We have had a busy couple of weeks and although we have events and corporate bookings until the end of the year our wedding season is done and done.
(although we are creating a ceremony area for this coming weekend at The Hidden Oak)

Our events last weekend saw us in Barnard Castle, Leyburn and also Croft on Tees.

Barnard castle was a private address and it was the biggest wedding of our season so far with seven individual structures.
4 large tipis, a nimbus tipi and 2 catering tents.
Carpeted throughout, lit & furnished … and probably a lot lower cost than the wedding factories out there.

Layburn was a single tipi wedding (forgot to get a pic) doh!!

We also assisted Croft Circuit with 3 structures at their nostalgia weekend.

This week we have been at Croft Circuit helping them get ready for the British Touring Cars Championship this weekend.
We have been creating seating areas inside their new cafe building and under some of our nimbus tipis.

It’s been another busy week.

3 tipis and a Nimbus in a private garden in Darlington.

We were back at Camp Kátur Glamping Bedale, for a pair of tipis.

And a single tipi for our first wedding at Little Seed Field, Ripon.
