So I was going to wait to post this essay, but no time like the present…

I’ve had an amazing 10 years of business and never expected to do so well, I didn’t even know how to curl ribbon 🤣. From being asked to make my first sweet cake and waking up at 3am to re arrange it, to making hundreds of cakes over the years and endless fetes.

I’ve gone through a medical diagnosis, doorstop collections lockdown in Covid and still kept so busy.

But all good things come to an end and I wanted to end on a high which I’ve definitely done, my little business exceeded all my expectations, even being asked to supply in all different counties over the world and being featured in a local magazine. I thought it would last a few months, never so long and I’ve absolutely loved it, even with 800+ orders every Christmas 🙈. I’ve always wanted to go to NY in December but never been able to cause of work…till now 🤣.

I’ve met such wonderful customers, and loved our doorstep chats, some who have become lovely friends, and I’m sure I’ll see many of you around as I’m always at costa twice a week!

Cones collected for this weeks birthdays 🎂, my sis asked for me to do a box for her weekend away as her friend who she’s going with loves my sweets 🥰, I think that’s just an excuse for my sis 🤣 but always happy to do it for her and she brought me some yummy chocs that I like 😍 so a good swap!

How cute are the Peter rabbit cones! Keeping to the theme of the colour a the front and a few favs hidden at the back! I always love 🦄 themed so the cups look fab and a sweet pouch for a weekend treat 😋 .
Have a lovely half term, I’d have liked a lay in but got to be at the garage for a car service early doors 🙄.

First week back and orders done, now to sort my house out for my youngest’s 16th birthday, it’s not till Monday but having a party tmrw night so need to get sorted! Coffee first I’m feeling, have a great weekend x

Hey all, I’ve not been active because I’ve had soooo much going on at home with the builders here. However, there is a light at the end of the tunnel and we’re nearer enough done apart from a couple of little things! My order book is back open, I’ve got orders booked in starting from next week. Are we ever ready to return to do work after an extended break 🙈😂

Omg where has the month gone! I’ve had a crazy few weeks with builders in and so much going on I’ve really had to cut back on the orders I’ve taken on as it’s just not been feasible to be so busy! This week and next week I’ve got a couple of orders but I’m preparing myself for my Christmas and birthday orders that have been booked in!

These are last weeks orders, we have the lovely Peter once again happy with his sweetie stash i always love receiving a pic of him looking happy 💙.

Early morning full stock up after my summer break! Traffic is so much better in the holidays 😂, got everything I wanted/needed 👏🏻.

Hope everyone has had a lovely summer, I’m not ready to set the alarm for next week not that I generally sleep or lay in, if I wasn’t peri menopausal I’m sure I’d be a vampire as they don’t sleep either 😂

Happy Monday, this time next week is the last week of term 🥳 does anyone else think these 7 months have flown! This is my last working week of the summer (I always take the 6 weeks or so of)
If I decide to start up a little earlier I’ll let you know. I kept last week very quiet on orders as I’ve got a lot on this week with bags and cups and I’m ready to wind things down 😂. How beautiful are my nieces ❤️, they loved the sweet letters I done for them 🥰. Let’s get this week done ✅

So pleased with this weeks orders, I absolutely love the pouches they are so cute and look fab 🥰, I was so pleased to match the football teams colour theme from stickers to the sweets ~ a few sweets were also hidden at the back not to spoil the colour theme lol and of course the sonic cones!

Have a great bank holiday weeks and half term also, alarms turned of!

The sweetie table was a big hit by kids and adults on Saturday! A few came in and didn’t say hi Carla, just so where’s the sweets set up 😂.

This week I’ve got some themed cones for a local youth football team and some pouches.

I stopped a few years ago doing my sweet cart, but today I’m doing a sweetie table for my nieces, gutted I’m threw away all my lovely jars but I’m looking forward to doing this and the party to celebrate 🎉 and I’m sure everyone will love helping themselves 🍬 have a great weekend x

A couple of this weeks items, the boxes were two separate posted and thankfully they got there super quick.

The cups are for a lovely lady’s daughter, they have been ordering from me for years and years and it’s so nice when someone starts out as a customer but you can call them a friend ❤️.

Next week I have birthday cones and cone orders for the Kings Coronation! Have a lovely bank holiday weekend and if the ☀️ could come out and the rain disappears that would be awesome lol!

I did say I was literally just doing 10 boxes for Easter and that’s it, I ended up doing a couple extra and was super happy with them!

Just some of my work over the last 10 days, I’m loving the spurs themed cones ~ my son who is a MASSIVE Arsenal supporter wasn’t impressed 🤣. The normal sweets are hidden at the back of the cones so it keeps to the blue and white theme at the front.

Next week is just Easter boxes as I won’t be doing any other work for the next two weeks, it’s also my birthday next Wednesday and I have loads of plans ❤️. For now the alarm is turned of 🥳🎉🥳🎉

Hey all, thanks to brilliant wifi I have been able to answer all messages 👍. Just a quick note tho that after Thursday evening no messages will be answered until Sunday as I'll be flying home and jet lagged for a little bit! Just a little clue of where I am 👏🏻 watching this made me quite emotional but in the best way ❤️x
