A super special place. This table over looks the bottom veg garden. It can be booked for private lunches. Currently taking bookings for summer 2025. We don’t have food miles, more meters. Everything we cook here grown and reared on site. And for the flash kids, we even have place to land your helicopter.

The adult has taken over and it time to sell our very special Firetruck.
Over the last few years the street food side of our company has taken a back seat and Frieda has been held up in storage. We are now booked up with other events until next spring and can not leave her in storage for another year., there’s only so many eccentric school pick ups you can do.

If anyone cares. This is mackerel pate. Hot smoked smoked with cherry wood. Delicious but we’ve all had mackerel pate so it’s not that interesting, who really what’s to look at pate pictures on a Sunday morning? But, was is exciting and something we’re very proud of is the little pink pickle on top! It’s an elderflower pickled radish, sometimes things just work.

While everything is continually changing our post service chats are a must and a reliable routine. Never very intellectual, but as the stresses of service dissolve, conversation is always enlightening and often bizzare, last night we talked thumbs in a truly epic location. Well we’ve had another epic time in the mountains but it time to get back to Devon before this look sticks 😬😬. We’ve returned to sun and the gardens looking amazing. The garden team have seriously cracked on over the last couple of months. As always, lots going on and plenty of new ventures to crack on with 🕺🏾🕺🏾🕺🏾🕺🏾🕺🏾
