Hi, Everybody! Here’s my big new music news of the month! And have a lovely Friday!!!

London based singer/musician Tom Moody releases four new songs- IN THE SUMMER and FRANCE IS BACON, and (under the Mr. Bossman pseudonym) DREAMING WITH PHOENIX/SAN TIAGO.

In The Summer is a mid-tempo post-punk/folk/prog/grunge affair, crammed with characterful melodies and sprawling chord patterns. More leaf- than sandcastle-kicker, the song evokes autumnal England and the eternal desire to escape into outer space.

France Is Bacon tells tale of a man one day changed forever by art, specifically that of one Sir Francis Bacon, set to music that could best be described as grunge disco pop.

Dreaming With Phoenix and San Tiago by Mr. Bossman fall into a wildly different category, a grimy, trance-like state of drum n bass-inspired dub-step, with sensational guest vocals from upcoming superstar Mo Phoenix.
“Two kettles, four fish, one barrel,” says Mr. Bossman, “Just so it’s obvious.”

Had a lovely evening in The Birds Nest, lovely to see Cassie Wierzbicki, (on what was unfortunately her last ever shift) Rick Batey, Eddie Real (obvs) Ed Jones, Will, Reece McLaughlin, Joel Matthews, Ceri James, Mark Sampson, Harry, An Nie, Nathan Greywater, Lee, Darren Bradley Naomi Wright and Angelique van Tuinen . And nothing even happened!
This is why I don’t do a Nestival retrospective.
