This popular Indo-Chinese meal consists of Chicken Shashlik in gravy which is quite similar to Manchurian along with flavourful veg fried rice. An excellent meal option for anyone who enjoys Indo-Chinese flavours or would want to try something exciting and different ❤️

LUCKNOWY CHICKEN QORMA: £9.99

The Majestic city of Lucknow is famous not only for it’s rich culture, Nawab rule, gastronomic etiquette and delicate chickan embroidery but also for numerous Mughlai delicacies. The preparation of this Qorma is different than our Dilli style version. This is made with chicken pieces on the bone in an aromatic and rich curry.❤️

CHOCOLATE MOUSSE DREAM CAKE: £3.50

We thoroughly enjoyed making a lovely combination of dishes ordered by our lovely client for her son’s 5th Birthday celebration. Chicken spaghetti being the best option for young guests while Koyla Kadhai and Chicken Kabsa were great choices for everyone ❤️

It was a pleasure for Rukhsana’s Home Catering to cater for a corporate team lunch today. The menu included a variety of dishes and we loved the opportunity to also showcase some popular dishes from the Asian subcontinent followed by two exciting and unique desserts.
We also had Vegan, Vegetarian and Gluten free options for some guests.
Thoroughly enjoyed preparing everything and it was wonderful working with such lovely clients ❤️

Famous curry, inspired by the Jama Masjid area in old Delhi, India. This curry was traditionally slow cooked all night and was eaten at breakfast, hence the name Nihari, meaning curry eaten on an empty stomach❤️

Throughout Ramadan we made sure we added special meals, chaats and dishes which were not only appealing to our clients but also nutritious after long days of fasting.
Although running a catering business in Ramadan can be challenging sometimes, it is extremely satisfying too. The beautiful messages and prayers that our clients sent us just made everything worth it! If Rukhsana’s Home Catering made your life a tiny bit easier and your Iftar table complete then this has been a great achievement for us.
As Eid is just round the corner, we will be taking a little break but promise to be back with new and exciting set menus soon.
