Hi guys literally don't know where to start with today's post 😭😭😭😭
Since taking the keys on for our new little tearoom we have had so many set backs and I mean ssssoooo many, BUT we have powered through and done everything we could to get back on track. Today I have literally sat and cried over spilt milk, a 4 pint bottle that has dropped and exploded everywhere so the flooring has to come back up for me to clean it as we all know how awful spoilt milk smells, we have had problems with the electric, I have had stock delivered where the packaging has been ripped so dropped all over the floor, my new range oven has decided only half of it will work now so down to 2 ovens, the electrician can't get here until tomorrow to sort out electrics out and the list goes on and on. So I have spent today moving all my baking equipment and ingredients back home so I can bake there (5 hygiene rating at home as you all know fully inspected and registered already), and what last minute work was getting done tonight is on hold so we can rip all the flooring up and clean BUT we will be open on Saturday as planned, if it kills me which after today is a possibility although we may still have bits to do we will be open and fingers crossed see a lot of you x

Who is looking forward to Saturday, we are and we are nearly there just a couple of last minute bits and we will be ready to open. Saturday will be our soft open so coffees, teas, cold drinks and a massive selection of bakes will be available and our full menu will be available from Monday 🥳🥳🥳🥳. I just want to take a minute while I have one to thank everyone that has made this possible Ultimate Graphics for the amazing signage, 3D Vending Supplies Ltd for the coffee machine and supplies, Albion Bakery Epworth for supplying our bread buns etc, a lovely lady called Mandy who sold us the furniture, crockery, cutlery, counter etc as well as the recommendations and advice and most importantly my amazing husband and children for the hours of work they have put in whether is was tiling the floor, putting things on the walls, tidying the garden, fillering, plumbing, moving all the furniture in, helping me load and unload stock, putting display counters together you name they have done it for me. I am very blessed with the family I have and will be forever grateful for all the work they have put on to helping me.pull this off. We really do hope and pray to see so many of you in our new little tearoom 😊

Had the most amazing date night at The White Bear Epworth tonight as always the steak was to die for as was the wine 🥴. Much needed night with my wonderful hubby away from work and phones etc although we did end up working on the signage via email at Ultimate Graphics with the lovely Jack 🫣. So I am utterly stuffed and a little tipsy so early night now.

Been a busy day today sorting out signage, menu's, menu boards, skips but we are making progress. Pictures up boards are written up, signage being made up. We are beginning to look like a tearoom 🥹

Hi guys I am hoping you can all help me out a little bit with sharing. We have had parents parking in the old chippy car park which hasn't been a problem as we aren't open yet HOWEVER we now have workmen coming and going, deliveries and waste removal going on so please please for the safety of the little ones can we ask you not to use the car park from tomorrow. I hope everyone understands my concerns and helps with this. Thank you guys

It's all starting to come together now we have officially signed up with the lovely guys at 3D Vending Supplies Ltd for our coffee machine today, lovely coffee samples and lovely guys and local so . Couldn't ask for better support from the guys they have been amazing oh and we have our coffee machine coming soon 🥳🥳🥳🥳😁😁😁😁. Long way to go but feel like everything is starting to come together now. Thank you to all the support from our followers and the community we have received it has been amazing and kept me going on some very dark and very cold days. But today we are going to end on a high 😁 would also like to give a shout-out to my bestie for coming with me today couldn't do this without you Hun xx Sam Crombie

Ok so lots of enquiries about the old chippy in Belton, we have taken over the lease and will be opening a tearoom. Our doors will be open on 1st February serving breakfasts, hot and cold sandwiches, Jacket potatoes, salad bowls, hot and cold desserts, breakfast pastries, cheesecakes, baked goods as well as hot and cold drinks. We will also be offering afternoon teas preorder only. All our menu will be to eat in or take out, phone orders welcome.

28 days to go 🥳

It has been so so cold today but lots of cleaning, unpacking and prep work done again today. Now Infront of the fire desperately trying to warm up while dinner is cooking, and to show my appreciation for all the hard work my poor hubby has put in over his Christmas vacay 🫣 I have a mini Christmas dinner in the oven for him. He will be pleased to get back to work next week lol

Day off from tearoom renovations today's while the hubby got some bigger jobs done so decks away, house reset, laundry done, ironing done and away, bedding changed, ham joint cooked, suppliers contacted, shopping done and away, bathroom essentials shop for the tearoom, run to Sheffield for some bar stools, dinner done now curled up with a movie
