Today has been a long hot day but my bakes are baked, decorated, cut and boxed ready for tomorrow. We have brownies, blondes, cupcakes, cookie pies, whoopie cookies, old school sponge, chocolate old school sponge and cheesecakes as well as our loaded waffles. All ready for Manvers Lake Events dragon boat race tomorrow 😊😊😊. And we are still serving our summer drinks peach iced tea, dragon fruit cooler and our fruit smoothies 😁 let's see summer out with a bang

We are looking for individuals/small businesses craft/activity stalls to support our event. (We currently don't have a face painter).
Stalls are £30 each for a 3m x 3m pitch and you need to supply your own table and gazebo.

Wow what a day, trade day at Howdens today complete sell out AGAIN, thank you for having me again loved seeing most of my regulars again and the staff are absolute legends. Super proud of myself drove the trailer in high winds this morning, full set up and serving myself, full take down myself AND got the trailer back home and reversed back onto the driveway all by myself, so after a rubbish and dirty pot dump from the trailer and a loonnnggggg hot shower I am now having a well deserved beer while I have my dinner cooked for me 😊. Happy Friday everyone

Hi guys I said a few weeks ago that I would explain so here goes the last month has been a rollercoaster we have had trailer in for some repairs so has been off the road but happy to report she is 100%back and ready to roll we have even made a few upgrades whilst she has been repaired, we have a family member who has been quiet poorly so visits and getting my kids through this as we know it's not going to get worse, I have had a few health issue which we are hoping is one the mend OH AND IM GOING TO BE A GRANDMA 😁😁😁 super excited and proud, although still feel slightly too young for this news lol. So as you can see emotional ups and downs this month. So next week we are going to be closed so we can regroup as a family. We are on the road with private events rest of the week so keep your eyes peeled for pics of our revamped trailer but for now a pic of our bub bub, can't wait to meet you little one 🥰

As a small business we rely so heavily on recommendations and return customers, so to turn up to one of our private parties from yesterday to do the clear away, take down and collection for the couple to meet us with their diary to book us in for their next 3 events 😊 we gotta be doing something right and it absolutely made my month 🥰

So today I had to pop to b and q for some DIY stuff and my daughter decided to come with me for the ride 😒 'oh while we are out can we just...... You can see where this quick b and q visit is going. As a mother of 3 children I have often been mortified in a shop by something one or more of my kids have done. Ladies life works in marvellous ways because when we eventually got to b and q I walked in to Miami by Will Smith playing which I loved when I was younger. I have sung at the top of my lungs and boogied my way through the store, very disappointed when the song stopped, my daughter was mortified to the point where she went bright red and said to the lady at work 'i don't know her' and walked away. But it got myle thinking about other songs that I liked when I was younger and save to say Amazon music app I love you be ause I have sung every bad song from my youth in the car on our way home even Will Smith Men in Black 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 save to say my daughter doesn't want to leave the house with me anytime soon so saved a few pennies there and walked in the house feeling like a teenager. To all my mummy and daddy friends on here, be patient your time for revenge will come around 😘
