Who wants a piddly little business card? Every couple of years we release a new edition of our large promotional cards, made for us exclusively by a beer mat company 🍻 Yes really! They are truly sturdy 😇

Our 3rd edition has just been released and we are proud to say that it features this very special shot by .greenbrooke of Holly and Sam’s celebration.

If you are a venue or supplier who would like some of our cards to hand out to couples, or perhaps you’ve had some before but have run out, please just drop me a line and I can pop some over to you.

I nearly missed it! 5 years ago we flowered the pretty late-spring wedding of Katie and Alex at Gidleigh Park in Devon.

Now they are the proud parents of two young boys and happier than ever. I love following our couples after their special day as their families grow bigger and their love grows even stronger.

Happy 5th Anniversary to you both, and wishing you lots of joy into the future. ❤️ ###

Whites and pale blues… I mean TRUE blues.. no purple, lilac or lavender here!
It’s been a recurring theme for a while (particularly in 2022 if memory serves me correctly) but - unlike some other less favourable trends 😅 - it’s not one I dislike … I just think it is really classic and certainly fitting with a rural/county theme.

It is only a challenge because of the limited flower types that are available in that shade.
Delphinium, oxypetalum, nigella and forget-me-nots are our friends, as well as squeaky bulb flowers like muscari and scillas in the spring.

Blousy and elegant, Meg’s bouquet was fun to make, and Hannah captured it beautifully too ❤️

Wowweee!! What a cake! 🍰
Of all the cakes that we supply flowers for, this was our favourite in 2023 … the colour choices were sensational!

And it was all artfully and stylishly created and constructed by Rachelle's Cakes who we have had the pleasure of working with a number of times now.

Ever wondered how your bridal bouquets will arrive?

We suspend the bouquets in our purpose-built boxes which are fully compostable (made from strong non-bleached cardboard) and where the stems can dry naturally until they are needed.

Leave them somewhere cool, out of the way and safe until you are dressed and ready to head to the ceremony. Then just gently lift them out, check the finished look in a mirror and off you go!

When carrying your bouquet remember to keep your arms long and relaxed, not high or close to your face.

Gorgeous summer tones from two years ago 🌸

We are currently receiving lots of enquiries for remaining dates this year, for 2025 and even for 2026 already. And most enquiries start with ‘can you please send me your price list’.
I get it. Weddings are a big deal and an extravagance.
Do you want to know my first tip? Never compromise on your bouquets, particular the bride’s. They will be in almost every photo, will be long remembered and can be used again at your venue if necessary.
Do without the ott table decs you had your heart set on, if it means you can have the roses you love or other favourite blooms, and if it means that your girls can have lush posies like this to carry. 👍🏻

Hannah and Adam were wed the weekend before Christmas at Horsington Church in rural Somerset, attended by an overflowing congregation, an arch of swords and an aisle of sparklers as they left the church and the most sumptuous reception at The Grange in Horsington afterward.
What a venue! Stylish and chic, relaxed and whimsical but overwhelmingly elegant. I can’t recommend it enough. ❤️

Hannah booked us pretty last minute (oh, the luxuries of winter weddings… suppliers tend to be available!) and so the planning bit was short, sweet and thoroughly enjoyable. The final plan was a mix of pro and DIY flowers (as her lovely mum Lucy is a dab hand) and I’m always happy to work that way… I can supply buckets of loose flowers, rent props and help make sure that the overall plan is on track, plus the selection of flowers, colours etc can still be seamless. At our workshop we ourselves created the bridal flowers, buttonholes, two statement church designs and a wowzer spray for the top table.

And who doesn’t love a white anemone in winter? All love ❤️

Making good use of the quieter winter season, my family and I have headed off to the sun for a couple of months, road-tripping in our camper-van 😎

More often than not we have delivered everything in plenty of time and are off on our merry way by the time the buttonholes are going on, but when venue set-up involves us being in the same place as the men folk on site, or when time constraints mean that everything is up to the nail, we are more than happy to assist with ‘flowering’ the chaps, and taking on the fiddly pin work 😉
This was at Chris and Holly’s wedding, where I was half-setting up the tipi marquees, then shooting off to the ceremony venue to get things ready there and then popping back to complete the reception set-up. In the midst of it all - and while filling a watering can in a farmyard - I came across the groom’s party in a conundrum about how to wear their boutonnière. Florist to the rescue! 🦸‍♀️

A star of a wedding, this one will be remembered for years. The logistics were mind boggling but the clients and suppliers were the best and everything went just as it should.

We had our last two weddings of the year last week, and it was - as always - a total pleasure to have Derris (also known by me fondly as ‘Mrs P’) back in the workshop.
We’ve been working together for nearly 15yrs now I reckon, and she is a joy to have on board for every event.
Kind, talented, humble and tea-loving, she’s a perfect flower buddy.
