Hi everyone, I would just like to introduce myself, I'm Danielle, 28 years old, a teaching assistant, having just recently got my qualifications to be a teaching assistant. Whilst working alongside children in a small playgroup in our area I found I was able to enjoy my passion for working with children. As a mother of 2 amazing children there is no better feeling than making children laugh and having fun, it truly is a reward in itself. I met Emma a few years ago before she thought of the amazing idea of transforming the wonderful Taggy into a unicorn. It’s funny I used to be scared of large animals and then one day Emma dragged me up to the stables to help out and i ended up on one of her ex race horses and that was it, she has stuck with me and not just me but my 2 children, who absolutely love going up to the stables too see all the horses and help with little jobs. Emma has really boosted my confidence and also my daughter’s who absolutely loves riding and has NO FEAR around any of the horses at all, I feel like this has been gained by her one on one time with Taggy, he is truly a confidence giver. The days when Emma & I would get glammed up and go out together have now been changed for muddy boots and baggy jumpers, but we still get glammed up though, well a girls got to hasn’t she!
I absolutely love working alongside Emma & Taggy at the amazing unicorn parties and meeting all you wonderful people and your amazing children, all of the visits and events that I have had the pleasure of attending have all been amazing.
But it doesn't just stop there, you wouldn’t believe the hard work that goes on behind the scenes, which I also have a part in, on occasion I will help Emma up at the stables, such as mucking out and feeding the horses and glamming Taggy up, which is my favourite part of the job btw , for you all to enjoy.
I look forward to meeting you all and your wonderful children at future unicorn parties.

Hi everyone so without my lovely team at East Yorkshire Pony Party Company we couldn’t do what we do, over the next couple of days I am going to introduce everyone let’s start with Sophie, not only does Sophie help out at the parties and events she’s also my lifeline when I’m not around and I appreciate her so much!

All of our staff not only have hands on experience with horses they also have in depth knowledge and experience with children in one way or another which in return enables better practice in supporting all children at our parties and events

Hey guys let me introduce myself, I’m Sophie, I’m 16 years old and in my last year at school, currently doing my GCSE’s. I met Emma through our shared passion for horses and we connected straight away with our same love of horses. Horses are a big part of my life having been around them nearly all my life, starting to ride as a 5 years old and have never looked back since. I have 2 horses of my own, Whiskey and Archie, Whiskey is my 5 year old who i got when he was only 2 years old, he was very green and over time has become a horse of a lifetime,we have grown massively as a pair and am looking forward to what the future brings us. Whiskey is a good all rounder and always puts his best effort into everything I ask of him. My other horse Archie is 17 years old, he can be challenging at times but he all he wants to do is please you as a rider. I also have a dog called Bailey who is my forever best friend and comes most places with me.
Sport is also a big part of life, I play netball for Scarborough ladies and play every sport for the school teams.
I often get told I am great with children which is probably because I have 2 younger brothers and a baby sister, even though they all drive me mental at times I love them all.
I work with Emma and Taggy at the Unicorn parties which provide so many amazing memories for you all.
I’ve had the pleasure of meeting some of you already and I can’t wait to meet more of you and make more amazing memories with your children. Taggy is my favourite pony and never fails to put a smile on my face. i often look after Emma’s horses when she needs an extra hand when she is busy. Emma’s family are lovely and are like my second family, Hattie is definitely my favourite.

Hello everyone we have had a huge gain of new followers and have now reached nearly 3000 so let me reintroduce myself to all my new followers, I’m Emma, it’s so nice to see you have managed to find my little business in this huge place that is social media 🫶🏻 and yes the picture is me, I promise you, I probably look this glam twice a year, all the other times when you see me I will look like i’ve been dragged through a hedge backwards as I usually have by one of the horses 👀🫣🤷‍♀️

The handsome man in the photo is my husband Steve, this is a rarity as he hates having his photo taken 😬 I think his bet or horse possibly came in this day 🫢📸🤳

We quite often get told that we were great with the children, that’s probably because i’m a mum to 4 of my own so I’m pretty much a pro now! well actually I’m still winging it 19 years later. There is Brooke 19, Jesse 17, Bobby 8 and Hattie 5, so i’m pretty proud of that 🫶🏻💕 aww plenty of help there with the horses i hear you say! NOPE, none of them, apart from my little Hattie, she shares my passion for horses 🦄🌈🫶🏻 (by the way if Hattie asks i’ve told you Taggy is her pony🫢🤫) she’s very proud she owns a unicorn 🦄

The other BIG thing in my life and one that has brought you here most definitely, fills in any spare time I have is the East Yorkshire Pony Party Company.

I started doing pet therapy over at Furry Friends Animal Therapy 8 years ago, where we made so many special visits with 2 very special little pony’s, Buttercup and Daisy. I loved working with such special people daily and this was helped even more because I also worked alongside two of my really good friends Helen and Emma who’s business it was.

I decided to set up East Yorkshire Pony Party Company because it was my little girl Hattie’s birthday, which we had got her a little grey pony for, she wanted a real unicorn, and well the rest is history 🫶🏻🦄💕🌈 Taggy was born

Taggy I get asked! why Taggy? well it’s unlucky to change a horses name and he came with the name Taggart …… yes Taggart (your definitely thinking Scottish detective from the 90’s early 2000 aren’t you) and Taggart just doesn’t give out Unicorn vibes, so we came up with Taggy and it’s just stuck quite well

Anyone who knows me knows i’m abit of a perfectionist (and a control freak) 👀🤦🏼‍♀️ so if you decide to book through us you are guaranteed to get the best looking unicorn in town 🦄💕🌈🫶🏻, although they say don’t work with children or animals, yes here we are and are smashing it 🫶🏻🦄😬🙌🏻

I’m so excited walking into 2025, I just know it’s going to be our best year yet! I have worked with so many amazing people/businesses over the last 2 years and I’m looking forward to meeting lots of new little faces, lots of lovely parents, grandparents, everything and everyone in between, for this year going forward.
