Laura and Ben tied the knot on Friday in the beautiful Orangery at @balbirniehouse! ๐
The golden & peachy colour scheme was soft, warm, and bold with an array of seasonal blooms featured, including Dahlia, Helenium, Heliopsis, and Solomio
I loved the aisle centrepieces, which looked just as pretty when on the guest tables with the couples' sage green accessories

What better way to start a new month than a beautiful garden wedding at @rufflets
Helena wanted a look that was crisp and neutral in colour, simple yet elegant, and the beautiful Playa Blanca roses were the perfect flower for this vibe.
Ruscus and populus foliages with trio settings of candle holders dressed the banquet table, which was in the courtyard outside the Garden Suite.
Thankfully, the morning rain was short-lived for an afternoon of celebrations in a beautiful sunny setting.
The sun made a welcome appearance for Becky & Kieran's colourful garden wedding @ruffletshotel

A classic and textured bouquet style combining the romanticism of roses with summer garden elements of Scabiosa and Oxypetalum.
Jen & Jack's beautiful Fife wedding started with an intimate ceremony at The Leng Memorial Chapel followed by a relaxed garden party at @teassesestateandgardens
On hand throughout the day, transferring and repurposing decor from the chapel to the venue, we felt truly immersed in this wedding and witnessed so many lovely moments.
Also loved meeting the duo behind the lens photographers @wonderfulandstrangeinsta

@allwrappedupscotland supplied the charger plates, table linen, and candlesticks at the venue
Inspired by the decor at one of our previous weddings, Susan & Colin went a step further and paired bold orange palms with shades of grey and natural pampas for their ceremony arch.
The centrepieces supplied by Piperdam were given a pop of colour and texture with an orange palm and pampas added to compliment their theme.
The bouquets were a bit more subtle with peaches and creams softening the bolder colours of the orange celosia, leucospermum, and bunnytails.

Katie & Graeme's wedding decor was a delight to the senses. From the colourful summer blooms to the gorgeous aromatic scents of lavender plants and the aisle chair decor, which featured mint, rosemary, and eucalyptus.
The reception tables were decorated with candlesticks and pretty bud vases of flowers. The brides coloured candles adding further pops of colour throughout.
Capturing all the moments of the day was @mirrorboxphoto, and I'm so looking forward to seeing just how gorgeous Katie looked in her beautiful dress.

Have you ever wondered what a day in the life of a florist is like?
Well, today was prep day ahead of this weekends weddings, and I've documented all the tasks that kept me busy throughout today.
#nationalfloristday #proudtobeaflorist #imaflowermagician
This Saturday is National Florist Day, the first ever awareness campaign for the floricultual industry. A day to celebrate all that is wonderful about flowers and floristry. Over the coming days, I will share some insights into my own personal journey of being a florist.
So why did I become a florist?
Just over 100 years ago, my great great aunt began her career as a florist working for John Hunt & Son in Dundee. A member of the British Professional Floral Artists Association, her floristry skills were renowned throughout the UK, and her flower creations always stole the limelight.
Her passion for floristry passed onto future generations, from my grandad to my mum, and then to me.
As a little girl, I spent many a day in my aunts shop, a huge 3 floored store, a treasure trove of all things pretty, and my love of flowers and design just grew stronger over the years.
Being brought up in the world of flowers I had first-hand knowledge of the least glamorous side of floristry, that bleaching buckets is a full-time job, your hands are forever ingrained with dirt and tinged green, countless hours are spent conditioning flowers and the days can be long but none of that ever deterred me from being a florist.
Whilst I learned the basics and more from a young age, I wasn't allowed to just "sit on my laurels" (pardon the pun), I was encouraged to learn my skills and broaden my horizons which is a story to continue another day.
