I have just returned from my week-long intensive with the @royalacademyofdance
We covered everything from the foundations of good ballet technique, pointe and character work, to music and what makes a ballet class a GREAT ballet class.
While I still have a lot more studying to do before this module is complete, I am nearly at the end of my first year of the Certificate in Dance Teaching (Ballet). I have learned so much from my tutor this week, and am looking forward to applying this new-founded knowledge to our classes in the new term.

Happy International Dance Day ! What is your favourite thing about dance? I love dance as an expression of imagination and emotion. Here our Primary girls are practising "Catch and Throw", where we imagine we are catching pretty butterflies and colourful water balloons.

It's almost Bring a Friend to Ballet Day! On Saturday 30th October, Miss Gemma invites all of our dancers from Primary 1 to 7 to bring along a friend to dancing, for a day packed with dancing fun!
Boys and girls are welcome, and do not need to have any dancing experience. All friends who attend BAFTB Day will be given an additional free trial space if they enjoyed our class and wish to return.
