Today marks the 10 years in business as Tupelo Tree // I’m sitting here unsure on what to say to really express my gratitude and happiness, but I can’t find the words so I’ll simply say - thank you!!

A leisurely cup and cake with .flora after a beautiful wee setup at as part of our 10 year anniversary - number 2/10 // not often do we get simple pleasures like this together, pretty skirts and time to sit and blether. Usually we’re muddied knees, nest hair and cold to the bone 😂

Sticky willys and massive clematis vines, foraged at the studio to fill the van for 3 installs over the weekend // we’ve now filled our 10 slots for free installations and are spending the next month making and setting up for some incredible shops around Edinburgh, Glasgow and Dunfermline ♥️

Before and after of our most popular design for the back wall at (swipe left) iv lost count of the number of times this photo has been referenced now, kinda amazing how much of an impact one photo can have // Not long now until wedding season kicks off again and we can’t WAIT!! January/February is busy busy with zoom calls, quote writing and lots of admin, planning out our 2025… this years gonna be a belter for sure!! Some truly incredible couples who are letting us run wild with our designs for their weddings! // ALSO our 10 year giveaway to local shops has been the most fun we’ve had in ages! Getting to think up fun ideas for really cool spaces is the best way to start our year // we are filling up fast on dates so if you’re thinking of getting in touch for this year, please shoot us an email on our website 😊

✨10 years of Tupelo Tree✨ iv been sat at my laptop sifting through a decade worth of photos, chaos and snapshots of life. Everything has changed in life - I’m no longer in an abusive marriage and scared anymore, iv got the cutest kid who’s just like me and so much fun, and my own home I was able to buy with money I made myself, iv got an amazing support system and the greatest friends (you know who you are!) and life is so vastly different from when I started out // for one, being away from years of manipulation, gaslighting and ignored for days on end each week… I’m thriving and have never felt genuine happiness the way I feel it now! I didn’t know life could feel this wonderful… and easy!! Now that I’m free and iv discovered who I am, I think it shows in my work as I take risks and jobs that are out of my comfort zone // 10 years of Tupelo Tree and I couldn’t be any prouder, and for all the wonderful people around me who have made it so incredible - to ALL you beautiful people who chose to follow me and my squares of photos and blurbs about being a florist, thank you!! // as a celebratory thank you I’m going to be gifting 10% off to new couples who book before the end of February ❤️

We’re taking some time away from admin to focus on relaxing and spending time with our families but I thought I’d take some time and make a fun little collage tonight. Some of my favourite Tupelo tree moments this year from the usually dreamy bouquets and gnarly foliage installs to luxury high end events. It seems Tupelo tree did it all this year✨

It would be impossible to choose my favourite bouquet of 2024 but there’s three are definitely at the top. No two bouquets will ever be the same and that’s what I truely love about it using Scottish/British grown flowers all year round✨

I endured the cold on my own while Natasha was stuck at home doing admin. One minute the sun was there and the next it wasn’t 🤦🏼‍♀️ I played around with some ikebana arrangements, all ingredients foraged from the studio grounds. It felt very meditative but the numb fingers soon got to me and I had to call it a day sooner than I would’ve liked. The final product was this very sweet nesty arrangement🪹

We had the pleasure of doing some beautiful work for in my home town last month, and honestly I really enjoyed making pieces at a slower pace! I don’t realise how fast I work until I’m able to slow down and realise that iv had to work at such a fast pace for so many years due to timings and freshness of our structures needing to be done on the day… this was a dream to work on and so wonderful meeting such beautiful people along the way 🥰 …(more photos of another beautiful installation to follow for )
