The genius work of and the week she came to photograph behind the scenes at Tupelo Tree // might have lost my mind when she sent me these previews today!! Iv been wanting to document our process and behind the scenes for a while now, I found Susan’s work a few years back and when she moved over here recently I was hoping we’d work together - then I had the genius idea to ask her to tag along with us and capture the true essence of what we do. Iv always had a deep passion for my work but never feel I’m able to really show it the way I see it… ✨ until now ✨ // Honestly Susan… I am lost for words

We’ve had a helluva day at the studio and out foraging, but the best part of our day has been having along with us! An absolute G in her craft 😎, she will be with us all week capturing behind the scenes of Tupelo Tree, the chaos and the beauty that comes with being a florist, the picking and pairing and making, the driving and loading, the laughing and happiness that doing this gives us // soppy maybe, but I really do adore being a florist 😍

Prepping the studio is always one of my favourite parts of making as a florist. It soothes my Audhd brain. I like the buckets up along the wall hidden from the sun, colour coordinate the flowers and textures and tidy the studio ready to make epic mess! This is the quiet before the chaos.

Lacey & Liam // getting to see pictures of work we’ve done is beyond incredible. As the stark contrast of us making it, to it being enjoyed is soooo huge! We arrive crack of dawn, in the rain, boots & work dungarees on, hair in a bun, snacking on diluting juice and breakfast bars, hauling trees into the ceiling and rushing around flowering up every table and clearing buckets… (we love it!) then seeing it being enjoyed in such luxury and calm! These pictures are gorgeous, this wedding was gorgeous! Congratulations Liam and Lacey - this was such a fun day!! ❤️
