🥳 Our 3x4.5m kids glow party tent was up in sunny Seaham today, although you’d never know it because I completely forgot to take any photos! 🫣

Huge thanks to Ashleigh who’s allowed me to post this gorgeous pic of the birthday boy himself - I think his infectious smile and obvious joy is a far better advert than any photo I could take! 💙

🥳 These kids had a blast today with our party tent, a bouncy castle, and an awesome DJ keeping them entertained! 🎈

Thanks also to the fabulous community centre staff. The tea and biscuits were lovely 🙏🥳

🎪 Our party tents can be set up in your garden, or local community centre or church hall.

They say never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity. Today I’ll take ownership of the stupidity that allowed me to erect a party tent on an actual quagmire yesterday - only to be met with dogs abuse this morning when collecting the tent and charging the customer £20 for the clean-up now required. 😢

Being placed in a position of either having to refuse to put the tent up on arrival (and potentially ruining a party), or proceeding, knowing a good couple of hours washing down would now be required for every item situated at ground level wasn’t the greatest - and it was made all the more irritating on learning the customer, and all her neighbours, knew they were having drainage issues with their new build gardens (the immediate next door neighbour had even dug a trench to collect the water pooling in their garden).

All that I may have happily accepted - but not the verbal abuse and threats made by the customer when informed we would be retaining £20 of the £100 security deposit.

A security deposit is taken to cover any damages, or clean-up required. Till today, every customer has had their full deposit returned - even when small things have been damaged.

Please, if your garden doesn’t have adequate drainage, then don’t book a party tent. It’s also helpful if you pick up all the dog mess before we arrive. 💩🤢

If the party is a surprise, then please let me know. What not to do is assume I’m psychic and had already figured that out - then choose to rant on and on about how the surprise was ruined because your husband answered the door. 🤔

I’m now off to fire up the garden hose. 💦

Back to normal service with our usual lovely, smiling and pleasant customers. 🙏🥳😀

👀 We’re keeping a close eye on the weather this week, with an outdoor party tent booked for Saturday. Fingers crossed the wind dies down before the weekend! 🤞

Don’t hesitate to get in touch at the last moment if you prefer to wait and see what the weather might be like, before booking. If there is space in the dairy, we will always accommodate. If you want to be doubly sure of a stress free party, then consider hiring your local community centre, or church hall, and we can set up indoors.
