I thought after 50 years as a professional Dj, I was ready to hang up my headphones. It appears I am not going to.
Age does have some limitations. It has to be a function where people want to enjoy music. Sing dance and be merry! I may not accept an upstairs venue, and I do have a minimum fee.

It was HOT. I was entertaining at a wedding last night (Wednesday) and while not a lot of dancing, some great music choices from the request slips. The Mrs signs (2) are not mine as is the photo booth. All effect and colour lighting supplier is cool Led equipment

I consider myself as just a working dj, but after 48 years I am still amazed to much I still enjoy other people's parties. This weekend was a ballroom and sequence dance night, the GMB union social after Durham big meet/Miners gala and a 16th birthday on Sunday. Can't show photos of the birthday party as I did not aspermission, but rest assured it was brilliant.

I now have 48 years of experience as a dj working for children's parties, birthdays, weddings, and ballrom/sequence dance nights. That is a vast amount of experience and knowledge.
