As the time comes to ease myself back into working life after being off on maternity leave, I thought it would be a good time to introduce myself to anyone who's new around here.

I'm Morven, a new mum to the best baby girl Amber 🥰 and live in West Lothian. I have been doing wedding videography since 2016, around 8 years 😱 and I always try to make the best film possible with as little fuss as possible.

My husband Neil and I got married in October 2022 at the Cruin on the banks of Loch Lomond so I have a fairly recent perspective on all things wedding!

Our lovely family photo was taken in Orkney by the amazing Kirstin Shearer during our holiday in April when Amber was around 9 weeks old. Our wedding photos were by The Gibsons and we just love to look back at the memories from our special day ❤️

If you're thinking about booking a videographer I'd love to hear from you. I have some availability for last minute weddings and will be taking bookings into 2025/26.

As you may have noticed I've been a bit quiet lately and that's because I've been a little busy. On 21st February we welcomed our daughter Amber Niamh to the world and we've been loving every minute with her since she arrived.

I'll be off for a short time but will be back in action by the time wedding season starts! I'm also still dealing with admin, albeit a bit slower than usual, so feel free to get in touch as normal with any enquiries.

Bridal prep is part of the wedding day that I just love. It's often the only time we'll have to chat a little bit as the rest of the day can be quite hectic! And I just really love all the beautiful wedding bits I get to film, from all the gorgeous dresses, the flowers, the jewellery and absolutely everything else that comes with it.

This wedding was a particularly lovely one to work at as the entire team was just fantastic.

Laura and Andy's wedding at Rowallan Castle in Ayrshire was one of the highlights of 2023 for us at Maq Films. We had the best day working with the whole team at the wedding and it was such a beautiful celebration to play a small role in. Congratulations to the happy couple and thanks again for having us along to film your special day ❤️

What a brilliant day Rebecca and Robert had at Pratis Barns for their wedding celebrations in September 🩷

It was an absolutely beautiful ceremony by Kathryn and it was great working with Rachel and Tonie and Rico throughout the day. The whole team at the venue looked after everyone so well and it was a real pleasure to play a small part in the day! Here's just a little sneak peek at what it looked like...

This year's July weddings were are fantastic as ever. Here's a little shot of this fun-filled day in Dunfermline. Arlene and Steven put so much thought into entertaining their guests and it definitely paid off!
