The acts we have on this years festival are all doing big things ... and that includes Kooey!

Performing at the D.H. Lawrence Birthplace museaum at 2pm, they'll be doing a bit more of a stripped back sett, so why not go grab a ticket to their first headline show and see them in all their glory!

Support as well from D.H. Lawrrence Fest regulars Kelsey and the Embers (who aren't on this year, but are performing in their new projects, Jaqueline at The Wello and Willow Bay at The Dog & Parrot) + the amazing Hollowstone supporting also

Last year we had our first after-party at Oliver's Pub & Kitchen and we're doing it again!

Once the festival finishes at all the other venues at 11pm the fantstic Ciaron Elm Music will be entertaining everyone from 11 - 12pm with a bunch of sing-a-long classics!

Make sure you end your night (if you last that long) at Oliver's!

Lineup change!!

It wouldn't be a D.H. Lawrence Music Festival without Pretty Babs!

Due to Jack Kendrick being unable to bring the band along his spot at the The Old Wine Vaults (outisde) with be filled with the Babs now! ... but to all the Jack fans, don't fret, he'll be on later in the evening playing solo for us at The Lady Chatterley's 🤘

Stage announcement #15 - Sun Inn Hotel Eastwood

We're very pleased to reveal our final stage!!!

Some amazing artists on this one, from bands, to solos to duos! we're pleased to welcomes B2, West of the Moon, Darren Morgan, The Ogres Hummingbird, The Hallam Sessions, WeAreTheStation, Gypsy Pop, JustJacs. Pancakeboy & Miss Shapen, Serah Beu and The Flying Dutchman, Doc Moonshine & Star Screen to our festival ... I think we can all agree, this stage has the jazziest band names

Stage announcement #14 - The Lady Chatterley

Our penultimate stage announcement for this years D.H. Lawrence Music Festival!

We've got a fantastic lineup on this stage, hosted by Dead Man's Tankard landlord Michael Upton

This stage features Dave Mooney, Grace Lee, Michael Upton, Cain Paisley, Antonio Panzera, Rowan Marsh, Danny James, Sticky Bones Jones, Stuart Boles, Confused, Jay Weton .... and in a slight change to things Jack Kendrick will now play solo on this stage rather than with his band on the Old Wine Vaults (outdoor stage) ... we've got a great replacement their however!

Stage announcement #10 & #11 - Greasley Castle & Eastwood Conservative Club

To celebrate England's win yesterday and our journey to the final we thought we'd bring you 2 stages today (also because we've not got long left and have to catch up haha!

We're delighted to bring you two stages full of duos and bands.
Our mission this year was to try and get as many acts on that haven't played the festival before as we could ... and i think we've acheived that with some incredible new names!

This fantastic micro-pub have been part of the festival for a few years now and it's always a great place to be!

Stage announcement #8 - The Wellington Inn, Eastwood

Back in the day The Wello was one of the original Roots indie music UK open mic vnues (alongside Three Tuns and The Sun Inn) and has been a day 1 venue for our festival.

We're very excited to bring you this brilliant lineup which includes some festival favourites, up and comers and a sign language performer .. Stage announcement #7 - Oliver's Pub & Kitchen

Our 7th lineup announcement for this years festival is at the fantastic Oliver's Pub & Kitchen, a venue that's been part of the festivities for years now and will be hosted by the fabulous Steggy!

Stage announcement #6 - D.H. Lawrence Birthplace Museum

We're really pleased to have a brand new stage involved this year, a chilled songwriter stage in the garden at the D.H. Lawrence Birthplace Museum

This stage will start a little earlier than the usual festival time of 2pm ... this stage will begin at 12pm ... so if your an early bird come check out the sets at this lovely venue

Hosting will be festival favourite Myles Knight, also performing with his new duo Kooey. Also on this stage we're really pleased to have a second set from Romy RoSong Music and sets from the brilliant Benjamin Zięć and JJ Lovegrove

From rock to indie to punk ... w've got a little something for everyone on this stage (including a S*x Pistol tribute band!).

For this years stage at the three Tuns we've decided to mix things up a bit, bringing you some of the finest originals, covers & tribute bands in the area ... something to sway you off the beaten track and over to this fantastic venue.

For the last few years we've been lucky enough to be able to hold two fantastic stages at The Old Wine Vaults and it's become quite the venue at the D.H. Lawrence Music Festival.

This year on the inside stage we're really pleased to bring you some incredible local acts that span from grunge to punk, electronica to metal 🤘 we can't wait to welcome Eddie & The Wolves, Joey Collins & The Bushido Code, NOOSE, Frame The Hero, Ugly Mayfly, Televised Mind, Filter Sequence and SHED to our festival!

After this last weekend enjoying the fantastic Here For The Music Festival we couldn't hold on any longer ... we had to bring you a stage (or 15) ... so here starts the announcements or this year D.H. Lawrence Music Festival

We are really pleased to be working with BlindEye this year.
An incredible local charity that work tirelessly to improve the lives of the homeless population in Nottingham and the surrounding areas.

They will be travelling across the venues throughout the day to help spread awareness. So if you'd like to volunteer to help their organisation or contribute to funds then you'll be able to speak to them on the day, or visit their website - https://www.blindeyesouprun.com/

A bit from BlindEye

"We don’t judge the people we meet, we simply offer them a hot drink, porridge, snacks and clothing and if they have a dog we offer dog food.

We know their reasons are complex as are the long term solutions and that giving a homeless person some food is not going to solve all their problems. However, sometimes we have to leave the debate about the causes of homelessness and the answers, show some humanity and help people with the problems they have now.

Who knows, the simple act of kindness of giving some food or a blanket could help turn around somebody's life but if it doesn’t it will still help them overcome hunger or cold."
