Here it is, for all you grassroots festival lovers, our There For The Music stage at The Wellington Inn, Eastwood

🎤 Stage Announcement #5

After an amazing debut last year, we’re thrilled to return to the D.H. Lawrence Birthplace Museum for an early outdoor stage – now proudly sponsored by the fantastic folks at The Old Nottinghamians' Society 🙌

🌿 This unique stage kicks off the festival 2 hours earlier than the rest – starting at 12 PM – and it’s set in the beautiful, laid-back garden of the museum. Expect a magical mix of acoustic vibes and fresh talent!

🎵 Here’s who’s playing this year:
✨ The Edi Johnston Bit – Ukulele comedy & chaos! Fun for all ages
🎸 Nanuk – Soulful acoustic singer-songwriter
🎤 JJ Lovegrove – A hauntingly beautiful set inspired by the writings of D.H. Lawrence, from her upcoming E.P.

We're so happy to be able to announce our first stage at this years D.H Lawrence Music Festival! - The Old Wine Vaults (Outside) sponsored by our main festival sponsor Watsons Estate Agents

This stage features an eclectic mix of some of the best local bands (& a solo act) from the East Midlands and slightly further afeild, including country, folk, Reggae and more

This year is our 10th anniversary ... if I haven't mentioned it already ... and theres a certain lad that's played/supported the festival for years now.

From some stroke of luck (after trying for years) we've got this lads full band playing ... and i cant be happier.

Some hints:
He's 33 today
He's bringing out his debut album this year
He's tall

+ ARTIST UPDATE +

Hey all

We just want to start off by saying a huge thank you to all the acts that applied to play this years festival. We ended up having over 600 applications ... which is a bit mad ... and obviously very difficult to then choose when you've got 160ish spaces. We decisded this year to try and get on as many new faces as possible, as well as a bunch of favourites to celebrate our 10 years with us, and personally I think this is our strongest lineup yet.

We've emailed every act now that we've chosen to play, with their stage and set time, so if your a musician that has been booked please check your emails for this, loads have replied back, so they should have arrived, but check your junk just incase it's niot there.

To those coming to enjoy the music, we will start rolling out the lineup in the coming months, so keep an eye out, it's gonna be a special one

We've decided to shake things up a bit this year and rebrand

We've used the D.H. Lawrence name for a few years now and thought for our 10th anniversary festival we'd shine a light on another influential author ... so please welcome our new name...
