Warm peachy, rusty tones.. it’s great to have an idea of your palette but also be open to stretching your colours slightly, you are then able to have beautiful tones and contrasts. Trust your florist to pick out special blooms and having locally grown brings out some absolute gems… check out these glorious dahlias, zinnas and cosmos grown right here in Perthshire!!

Too many gorgeous pictures to choose from this wedding of H&D - I love this one! It’s so dreamy, gorgeous Heather chose a green and white palette with a touch of blush tones for her bouquet. It complimented the bridesmaids dusky sage green dresses perfectly. These flowers came from local growers in Perthshire .. keeping the flower miles down for sure. What a day! So as part of supporting all the fabulous local artisans in our area.. we are offering weekly flowers at a fantastic cafe in Errol with amazing food, drinks and cakes with lots of local gifts on sale too. We are using amazing flowers supplied by the fabulous team at the very best fresh and inspiring florals. Flowers also provided by a small local grower who has thee best astilbe ! A quick snap of the external arch at St.Pauls Church in Kinross. We battled with seriously windy conditions to create this foam free structure. We love doing these natural, loose and a touch on the wild side statement pieces for weddings.. lovely to decorate a church doorway, your first steps out into married life together. Why not make it Wow?! Definitely a photo op for all your guest too. This was made for the gorgeous couple H&D .. an utter joy to be part of your wedding journey. The view from the barn in window is simply stunning… framing the window and for my gorgeous couple we chose to create a meadow moon gate. Full of beech, foraged foliage and meadow flowers thank you to for buckets of lush flowers 🌺 thanks also to Ros .flowers for all your help and support over the last couple of long days .. you are the best ! Confetti shot! This photograph captured the fun and laughter at this gorgeous wedding in the grounds of . Couples are choosing to have the petals that we florists don’t use in the arrangements - perhaps we have broken stems or the guard petals that come off before designing the bouquets to further the repurposing of flowers at their wedding. I am not sure about you but as soon as the sun is out I am thinking we are on it! It’s the start of wedding season. So here is sunshine on the loch.. not Leith. The season starts. I love wedding pictures with beautiful backdrops. This was on the banks of the stunning Loch Rannoch. Anyone thinking of a loch side ceremony ? So this one of my happy places at work!!! We absolutely love doing the ‘BIG’ stuff. 📸beautiful image So thankful for feedback! Gorgeous Libby and Chris - 🙏 I was so very pleased with the florals kirsty put together for our winter wedding. The brief I have was pretty vague, but from a couple of images and chatting on the phone, the bouquet that was delivered on the morning of the wedding was somehow exactly what I had imagined, even if I didn’t know it! The bridesmaids posies, buttonholes and corsages were also perfect- truly beautiful! My only regret was not incorporating more of her floral design into the venue decor too. Kirsty was a pleasure to deal with throughout the planning process and so helpful on the day . I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to any brides to be - Libby and Chris, Rosie on the Earn 16:12:23

Bridal bouquets always the element of wedding florals that take so much time and energy in order to exceed expectations! The finished design may of been taken apart several times before we are happy with it… are favourite words to hear are ‘you do your thing’ then we can design without too many rules! So we have had fun creating a soft autumnal palette for the wedding this weekend. At this time of year we were so fortunate still to get locally grown produce and still have the opportunity to create our designs with Scottish flowers. Our bride trusted us to do what we do with no restrictions on colour and shape - we LOVE when this is the brief 🍁🍂🍁this is one for one of the 4 bridesmaids 💐💐all had a similar colour palette but all designed individually. The maids are very special too 🍁❤️🍂 🍁

So l have said the word wreath… ! Particularly popular over the festive period however I am not sure I am ready to use the ‘C’ word just yet!! So as we say goodbye to summer and look forward to the wonderful colours of autumn 🍂 we can really start thinking of all the lovely things ahead. We are currently now heading into admin time and trying to gather our thoughts after a very busy summer season. We still have a few gorgeous weddings to share with you in the coming months. Lucky enough to be back at this weekend. With unpredictable weather forecast the couple chose to have the ceremony in the organgerie. A beautiful spot looking over the gardens at the castle. Big blousey urns with seasonal blooms how can you not love the colours and scent in these big arrangements. Nice to have the height of these flowers on pedestals to add drama to the setting. Two were placed by the patio doors. Wishing a lifetime of happiness to the beautiful bride and her lovely groom. 💕
