Add a touch of homemade charm to your Christmas by taking a wreath-making workshop. We’ll show you how to create a beautiful 30cm moss-based wreath decoration, with naturally sourced materials. Along with the frames, we’ll provide an array of foliage, dried fruit and decorations to make your festive wreaths one of a kind! Each workshop is limited to 10 participants. You are welcome to bring your foliage too to add a personal touch. We recommend bringing gardening gloves to help handle pricklier items such as holly! Each session is two and a half hours long, and suitable for participants aged 13+. Participants aged 15 and under must be attending with an adult over 16. £40.00 per person. Includes complimentary a hot drink and a festive sweet treat. Option to BYOB - corkage £3 payable at the venue. The sun is shining at Edinburgh Zoo drop by the Autumn Market to pick up a planter (we have penguins), an autumn wreath or festive plantable cards and tree decorations and talk to us about the wreath workshops we’re doing at the zoo this year!

🎃The planters critters are back at the Wool and Craft Station and getting in the Halloween spirit👻. Don’t be spooked - pick one up for your outside space in time for Halloween and then remove the wee witches hat for a winter flowering planter!

To add to our growing product range, we’re pleased to announce our new plantable seed cards. After use, the card can be planted and grow into beautiful flowers. Included in the seed paper card are flowers such as Cornflower, Sweet William, Red Poppy, Chrysanthemum and Evening Primrose. Each card is unique due to the nature of the paper and the hand-crafted embellishment. Our plantable cards available to purchase tomorrow from the Wool and Craft Station, 19 Station Rd, Kirkliston EH29 9BB or at a seasonal craft fair.
