Introducing the cast and the characters for Casual Encounters at Hill Street Theatre for this years Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
First up is Ade Smith, playing James Rogers.

James is a middle aged banker (and no, that's not rhyming slang) who has found that moving to Morningside hasn't filled the gap in his life and his marriage. But he knows something that might do. Find out if he's right, or why he might be very wrong, when the show opens on Monday 19th August.

MISTER SHAKESPEARE
⭐️⭐️⭐️ - The Wee Review

This new play by an award-winning writer Michael Barry, starring Ciaron Davies (Game of Thrones, Manson Family Massacre) and directed by Stephen Church follows Shakespeare in his lodgings as he works on three of his best known plays, tortured by ghosts from the past and the outside world, even King James, he descends into mania as he creates King Lear, Antony and Cleopatra and Macbeth. This is an evocative depiction of London and Jacobean England during the plague, and of genius in isolation.

Can you live with your mistakes? forgetting the phone on a train or leaving a woman you love?

In the book “Crime and Punishment” Raskolinkov kills an old woman, and the guilt of the deed haunts him until he surrenders himself to the police. The agony of his mistake torments him, and does not allow him to live. The Machine Man transforms into a murderous old lady, a black widow, murdering all of her husbands. She lives in a world of ghosts, The spirits of her husbands haunt her. Like Raskolinkov she searches for redemption from another human being.

If you come to my show, and I will try to poison you, will you ever forgive me?
