Hello lovely customers, wee update from me...

I've been very quiet on here for a while as I haven't been trading recently. As you can imagine the hospitality industry has changed significantly, we're able to go out to celebrate and enjoy each others company in a setting other than our homes!! For me this has meant that demand has dropped quite significantly and doing deliveries isn't sustainable for me working from home. For the time being I have picked up some other work which means that I'm not able to manage Mange Tout orders on top of things. Its not the end of my catering journey, good food is always in my heart and I will always have the drive to create and share it!

For now I will say thank you to everyone who ordered from me, I'm truly humbled that you put your trust in my small business in such crazy times!

Last weekend I had the honour of preparing 25 individual boxes for a wedding. The bride requested a nod to the two nationalities uniting - Pakistani & Scottish, it was really fun to create!

IT'S HERE! 🥳

Presenting to you, my events catering menu!! I've been working behind the scenes to put this together, to bring you a summer style buffet menu that takes takes away the work of self catering for friends and family.

A few of these are our families' favorite sharing dishes and as always, it's designed around the food WE LOVE TO EAT!

Since this is a brand new thing for me, I'd love to hear any comments or feedback ☺️

At the request of a lovely customer, I have put together this vegetarian menu and as a first will be delivering for 3 days straight! Dates are as follows:

Sunday 4th July
Monday 5th July
Tuesday 6th July

This menu is £16.50 pp

A small delivery charge is applicable depending on area

Scottish blackberries are just coming into season so it had to be this cake for my mum's birthday yesterday. Blackberry cake made with coulis and cream cheese icing. Happy Birthday Mum! 🎂

Wee bit of news to share!!

I've been busy working away on my next project....small events catering!

Keep your eyes peeled for my new summer buffet menu, coming soon. Think big beautiful plates to share, bold flavours finished in Mange Tout style... all freshly prepared and brought to your home to let you enjoy your special event!

I will also be shortly releasing another date for picnic boxes in July, date depending on demand, so please get in touch if there is a weekend date in July you're after!

Only one way to eat madeleines...fresh as a daisy! For these ones I pop a raspberry inside before baking, once baked I pipe in a little homemade lemon curd ☺️ Yum.

First of the weekend boxes ready to go ☺️ And a picture of me very happy!! I'm really pleased with these ones... I'm not going to lie, it's not always a breeze getting everything together (!) and I always tend to push myself until the last minute, wanting to make everything super fresh and perfect...it can be stressful!! I think I may actually be on my way to figuring it all out 🤣 This morning I have been singing loudly in the kitchen to Crowded House (just me, then 🤣) and now sitting with a coffee before deliveries...definite progress!!

I think my favourite thing about this box is the cute swing-top jar for the Rillettes de Saumon, it feels like the epitome of the French pique-nique!

My rillettes is made with poached fresh salmon fillet, smoked salmon, cream fraîche, yogurt, lemon and herbs. Quality is always really important to me and I try to source the best ingredients possible.

You can be confident that when you're ordering with me that it's from a safe and licensed environment. My premises is Environmental Health registered, I have the relevant REHIS Food Hygiene certificates and I'm also a Personal License holder (ie I can sell you booze!). Peace of mind sorted!

'POUR TOUTES LES MAMANS' 💐

Very pleased to announce my updated French picnic boxes just in time for Mother's Day! I'll be delivering these on Sun 14th March and also releasing other dates for this box to be ordered for other occasions. I hope you like it!

All homemade fresh by me, this box is £18 pp, the photos are for two people but you can also order for one.

This time I'm also adding a few optional extras! -

I have teamed up with the lovely Jen at local company Moss and Mint to make the box decoration even more special with her beautiful mini bouquets of flowers (£5 supplement).

Secondly the guys at Majestic Wine have helped me select a wonderful bottle of pink bubbles to make your maman smile! The Bouvet Saumur Rose Brut is made in the same method as champagne but without the same price tag. "Creamy, fresh and floral", it balances really well alongside all my treats (£12 supplement).

I'll be delivering within EH1-EH4 & EH9-EH14, £2 delivery charge. If you would like to order and you are outwith these areas, collection can also be arranged from an EH12 address.

Aaaannd done! All Christmas orders have been delivered, "work work" is done, and a family friend gifted me a bottle of champers on delivery... perfect timing! 🍾Although now to organise our own food! 😁 Looking forward to some good grub this week. As promised, here are more Christmas treats that will be available to order for your Christmas feasts! Along with the Chocolat Framboisier, I'll be making:

Kougelhopf Glacé £25 (serves 8-10)
(A new one for me too!) I've got a great alternative to Christmas pudding, this is a similarly flavoured desert which is a bit less heavy but still feels just as indulgent! Rich ice cream, fruit marinated in cognac, vanilla & orange zest...

Tarte aux Noix £18 (serves 8-10)
Pastry tart filled with walnuts and caramel, oh so simply Christmas-y.

Christmas Spiced Pear Frangipane Tartelettes £2.50 each
Individual (or can be ordered whole) tarts filled with almonds, spice and fruit. Yum served with crème fraîche.

These deserts all freeze very well (well especially the ice cream one 😂) and I'll be making them to order and freeze in the week leading up to Christmas, to deliver up until the 21st. You can then keep them frozen until you need them.

Hello everyone, its been a bit quiet on the Mange Tout front, I'm still here!! Hope you're all keeping well and keeping cosy this weekend.

I've been working on bringing you new ideas while thinking about continuing providing things that have been a hit!

I have been hoping to offer some special Christmas treats and would like to start by offering my Chocolat Framboisier as a dessert for your Christmas table! Some of you might have tried this in my French Pique-nique box over the summer. It's a layer cake with dark chocolate mousse, chocolate sponge and raspberry coulis 😋

As this needs to be set in the freezer, delivery time is more flexible and you can whack it out on Christmas Eve to be ready for Christmas Day! Win win 😊

1 cake is £23.00, serves 10 well and 8 generously. It keeps well for a few days in the fridge if you happen to have leftovers!

Delivery charge is £1.00 and it comes beautifully wrapped in the Mange Tout way. Currently delivering to usual areas EH1-4 & EH9-14. I'll likely be delivering up until 21st.
