Up in Durness after a a couple of beautiful days making our way up the West Coast, the weathers turned but we have been super lucky with it up to now, we were really pleased to get a brief display of the Northern Lights on the way to the pub last night

Heading up North after work to see a bit of the West Coast, or some of the NC500 if you prefer ;) Had a cracking night in Inverness, transformed since I was last up here, packed pubs mideeek , live music into the early hours, treated to a fantastic set and great chat in Macgregors bar by the wonderful on to Plockton next

The car park at work was peak enjoyment today, the Citroen GS which is the daily car just now was joined by this lovely Mini and old 2cV which are in next door at Ecosse Classic Garage for work, trumped me in commuter coolness arriving on his “new” 1968 Hetchins, what a thing 😍

Congratulations Jordan and Kieran, married today , was feeling a bit dour this morning after alll the negative s**t on the news and a social media feed full of horrible gits, then you head out meet these Fantastic guys and a lovely bunch of quite mad guests, it certainly lifts the mood ❤️

Out longish term Citroen project, a 1978 Gspecial which was taken off the road and tucked away in a Barn back in 1993 is now well enough for first drives, it is really sweet, front wheel bearings are very poor, but its easy to understand how this car impressed on its release and was the 1971 “car of the year” had it out for fuel this morning, when ingot back to the garage my mate Roy tuned up with his incredible Green machine, which must be one of the nicest Citroen ID in existence, goodness knows why we don’t get exciting colours on cars any more 🤔

I really admire Hannah and Chris’s wedding planning, a beautiful intimate wedding at the gorgeous , out for photos with the lovely , back for the wedding breakfast, escape in the Lincoln back to the hotel for a quick dress change, then smoke off to the airport and jump on an LA bound flight for an incredible US road trip, wonderful stuff ♥️✈️🌍

The old Citroen has spent most of the summer sitting on the ramp needing some kind of work or other, the recent Citroen Tehnical day spurred me into enough action to make it useable again, had a bit of business in town tonight and it was a really lovely night to have her out for a run, I now really need to push on and get her “finished” 🤣
