Beautiful Echinacea…
These perennial flowers are so easy to grow, flowering from early July right through to Autumn.
In the winter the seed heads are adored by garden birds, especially flocks of Gold Finches and Long Tailed Tits.
In early Spring, cut the plants right back to ground level just before the new growth begins to show. Echinacea also self seed readily, which means lots of free plants - which you may see as a positive or a negative! 😁

Today I was very happy to be supporting Ely Gift Hampers at their Grand Open Day - they certainly know how to host an event!
For anyone that doesn't know Ely Hampers, they spend a lot of time supporting local businesses and use a lot of locally sourced products to make up their fantastic hampers.
Not only are you supporting Ely Hampers when you buy a hamper, you're actually supporting other local talented businesses.
One such business is Rollin-North Bespoke Crafts who were also there today. They design and make a whole host of products using laser etching techniques!
