December’s Whisper
December whispers through frost-kissed air,
A mix of joy and hearts laid bare.
The twinkling lights, the winter’s song,
Echo with those we’ve loved so long.
Their laughter lingers in the chill,
Their warmth remains, it always will.
Though empty chairs now mark their place,
Their love shines bright in every space.
My family grows as seasons turn,
With children grown, new loves to learn.
The joy of watching roots take flight,
A future blooming in December’s light.
We gather close, we build anew,
Memories fresh, yet steeped in the true.
The sparkle of snow, the fire’s glow,
Hold both the past and what we’ll know.
Each step forward, they walk in stride,
Forever near, though time may divide.
In every smile, in every tear,
Their spirit whispers, “I’m still here.”
So let us cherish, let us create,
Moments of magic, moments of fate.
For in December, the world feels wide,
Bridging the gap of those by our side.
Through love unbroken, through time’s embrace,
We honor the ones we cannot replace.
And as we weave this season’s thread,
We find them living—not gone, not dead.
