**Request for your help!** hopefully you’ve all enjoyed our seating area particularly the marquee which has offered shelter from the elements, sun, wind, cold & rain. We are currently waiting on a decision from Chichester District Council from a retrospective planning application for us to trade in the overflow car park of Southbourne Farmshop Unfortunately there has been an objection submitted to the marquee remaining in the seating area over the winter months, Oct-April a time where we feel it is of most benefit to our customers, so they can continue to enjoy the space, whilst being given some shelter from the colder & often wet elements over the winter months We would be very grateful to any customers who would feel able to submit a comment expressing support for the marquee to remain in place all year round. It’s becoming increasingly difficult for all businesses to survive in these tough financial times & as a small business this decision could have a massive impact on our ability to remain at the farmshop, we desperately want to stay, we love our customers & our location. Submissions need to with the council by 01 December, these can be done by registering on the Chichester District Council Website, https://publicaccess.chichester.gov.uk/online-applications/applicationDetails.do?keyVal=SJYPU2ERL4H00&activeTab=summary & entering the ref 24/02102 on the planning applications page or by post to Chichester District Council, Planning Dept, Pallant House, East Pallent, Chichester, West Sussex, PO19 1TY. It’s really important that all comments/letters are referenced as follows 24/02102/ful-Retrospective (S73a) change of use to allow operation of a coffee trailer on land associated to Southbourne Farmshop Thank you for all your continued support for our small business, Lisa & Terrie ☺️

Flower focus: Hydrangeas …

Possibly one of our most popular Bulbeck Blooms, our hydrangeas are stunning. They are in season from June to February. They make great flowers as a cluster of standalone stems, or as part of a big beautiful bouquet.

Top tip: You can also dry them and enjoy them for many months.
