The first of our curated ticketed events for 2025!
A special Greek dinner (sorry not in Greece, but you’ll feel the sunny vibes!) with a presentation from Chantelle Znideric, an award winning personal stylist who travels the country helping women feel and look their best!
Polly’s little Greek Kitchen is a new cafe/venue in Market St. Your taste buds will certainly thank you with the fantastic food created by George and his team. This is authentic greek food made really well.
The menu which includes a soft drink is as follows:
Homemade tzatziki and tirokafteri (spicy feta cheese) dips
Grilled pita bread wedges
Grilled chicken skewers in a lime & oregano marinade
Grilled manouri sheep’s cheese wedges with a balsamic reduction
Greek salad
Lemon roasted potatoes with crumbled feta cheese
Slow cooked beef kokkinisto in cinnamon and red wine
Oven baked aubergine imam bayildi
George has applied for an alcohol licence, but currently it is a BYO. We will let you know nearer the time whether you can purchase wine on site or need to BYO.
Parking is available next door after 6pm.
What it will cost:
EARLY BIRD DISCOUNT PRICE £35pp if paid in full by Friday 21 March 2025. Any tickets purchased after this date will be the full price of £40pp.
Cancellations/refunds:
As the cafe operates on a minimum amount policy, unfortunately we will not be able to refund tickets due to no show or cancellations UNLESS you can provide someone else to take your place. Please do invite friends whether on or off this group.

DO YOU MISS THIS?
If like me you used to work in a busy office, you might sometimes wistfully remember the shared gossip at the coffee machine, going for lunch with the girls (and boys), office parties (yuk), the stationery cupboard - fill 3 forms out for that pen etc etc. You realise you made the right decision by starting your own business, but it's nice to share ideas, get another opinion on an idea you're working on or just have a laugh with someone.
Well that's what Women in Business is about - sharing, supporting, passing on useful tips or experiences and also filling the void of your old work colleagues. If you work alone it is easy to get isolated - yes you email with people, you speak on the phone to people, but face-to-face contact is SO important... make a great decision and give yourself a break just for an hour or so.
