We have made a massive decision - after 12 years of Celebrations, we have worked unimaginable hours, shaped and re-shaped our lovely business beyond our expectations, made so many happy memories, sharing special occasions with so many over the years - we have decided that it is now time for us.....So we are selling, retiring from Celebrations - But we are not going just yet as we still have some lovely weddings/events booked in for the rest of the year - so want to see out this year enjoying every moment and reflecting on what we have achieved - Thank you to each and every customer over years - we have loved celebrating every occasion with you x

Just a quick reminder that we are having a break for a week.....I am attending a very special wedding in Spain - so looking forward to seeing how the Spanish do weddings - Shop is CLOSED Mon 20th May - Friday 24th May: OPEN Saturday 25th May.

As the winter drifts away, we will always remember those laid to rest with fond memories.......Sad gatherings for friends & families - our funeral tributes have a wonderful way to shine some colour on a sombre day. Each tribute has a story to tell about those that are always in our thoughts.

This was a recent fishing funeral tribute completed with little mention of the late gentlemen's football team he supported - it is lovely to do something different and I was pleased with how this turned out as its the first fish completed - All the scales were made from aspidistra leaves - each one cut out/ placed in position ready to spray the fish markings!

This time last week we were prepping for the Mothers Day flower weekend! Some lovely pre-orders for those that were super organised and then we had the can you just....I totally forgot....I didn't realise......but we pulled it off and being super organised ourselves certainly paid off as on Sunday afternoon I was able to go home and spend some time with my family - A MASSIVE THANK YOU TO OUR WONDERFUL CUSTOMERS AND ALL THE GREAT FEED BACK WE HAVE HAD - Makes it all worthwhile, here are some that I managed to take a photo of before they were collected/ delivered x

Today was another prep-day.....as soon as I prepped it - it went out the door! Just made another batch for tomorrow for the last minute grab n go and I still have a couple of delivery slots late morning/ mid-day ish for MOTHERS DAY FLOWERS. Still quite a few of our little plants left - Open early tomorrow Sunday 10th March - will close as soon as we have sold out so be quick if your still looking for Mothers Day x

Exmouth certainly has some lovely romantic's - we completed some beautiful flowers, balloons and even added chocolate to some bouquets....they were a favourite! Here are some that I managed to get a photo of before they were collected / delivered. Hope you all had a wonderful Valentines x

Some lovely flowers have gone out today ready for tomorrow, pre-orders, postal, deliveries all ready for Valentines tomorrow - we will be in the shop early tomorrow ready for another day of prepping and delivering........we still have some Red Roses left as today was a little quieter than we thought it would be (rain and road closure I think) IF YOU NEED VALENTINES FLOWERS WE CAN STILL DO THEM! Valentines is only a few days away Weds 14th Feb....we will have a few ready made arrangements floral and balloons ready to go for those last minute purchases, we are still taking pre-orders, as we only have a limited amount of the beautiful Freedom Red Roses so once they are gone they are gone! Wishing all our lovely customers a wonderful Christmas especially those that got married throughout 2023 that are spending their first Christmas as a married couple. It was an honour to be able to complete each and every special floral pieces for many occasions - we are very much looking forward to the year ahead with lots of lovely weddings & events throughout 2024 already booked in. To my lovely customers who have been asking about the 'Christmas Wreath Making Workshops' we had so much fun last year when we did them.....we even got the wine out! This year I have decided to have a little break from doing so much over this years Christmas period as some of you will know that my son has been extremely poorly for the last couple of months - now that he is on the mend we are taking things at a slower pace after the trauma of the last couple of months. I will of course have some Christmas Wreaths in the shop very soon - if you would like to make your own at home please pop in for any items you may need to do this x

Do you have an interest in flowers, next meeting is TONIGHT WEDS 8TH NOVEMBER 7PM - Exmouth Rugby Club - a warm welcome, inspiration and a little time out for you !

Exmouth Flower Club is a small, friendly club, first established in 1956, that welcomes all who have a love for flowers and flower arranging.

We meet on the second Wednesday evening of each month at Exmouth Rugby Football Club, opposite Imperial Road Car Park at around 7PM for 7:15PM start.

We have expert demonstrators, whose talents know no bounds, who are very informative and entertaining. We hold a raffle to raise funds and the prizes are the flower arrangements that are made during the evening. Refreshments are always available such as tea, coffee and biscuits.

Why not come and join us as a guest and see what we do, we charge £5.00 and if you decide to join us our membership is £40.00 per annum.

Hopefully see you soon, I can promise a warm welcome.

I have been a little quiet on here recently due to a very poorly son in hospital - daily trips to Wonford, Exeter now Derriford, Plymouth meant this part of the business had to pause….but this evening I was lucky to have some much needed ‘time out’ to go my happy place of Flowers. It was lovely to do a demo for the Nafas Exmouth Flower Club, the theme was ‘Oktoberfest’ a great evening enjoyed by everyone x

Pretty Pink Roses were chosen by the Bride for a this lovely bridal floral wedding collection completed recently - a complimentary mix of delicate flowers including Lisianthus, Spray Roses, Misty, Gypsophila with a hint of soft tree fern - a very summery bouquet!

Some recent funeral tributes completed - a small casket spray in Pinks & White/ Ivory. A Posy pad arrangement in green/ whites with a special printed ribbon message printed.

Customer wanted a pretty welcome door wreath, lots of lovely flowers in this wreath to make it so pretty - a lovely photo of Hollie for her 21st provided by mum for everyone to see laminated and placed in centre of wreath *covered up as I'm sure Hollie wouldn't want this one on FB although I think some of the party guests have delighted in putting it on FB lol x

Our baskets of flowers are quite popular - can be cello-wrapped & bowed to make a perfect gift or left open to enjoy straight away - here are some that have gone out over the last couple of weeks.

It was lovely to put this Bridal package together - Bride wanted a loose, wild, rustic feel for her bouquet with lavender (the shop smelt wonderful with all the lavender bunches) and purple flowers. Thlespi was the main light flowing foliage added along with grasses, the delicate flowers included Purple & White Lisianthus, Clematis, Gypsophila and wax flower was also added to the table centrepieces. Buttonholes with lavender and gypsophila - all enhanced with a touch of hessian to give a rustic feel.

Bride choose a soft pale pink Rose enhanced with delicate florals to include 'tanacetum daisy, veronica' with a little foliage - so summery with Ivory Rose button holes and ladies wrist corsages to complete the Bridal package.
