We’ve been super busy here this morning getting all the vintage folding chairs & rustic trestle tables ready for the local village Jubilee Lunch…all hands on deck at we have 328 guests at the last count!!! Praying the rain will miss us on Sunday 🙏🏻🙏🏻🇬🇧👸🏼🇬🇧👸🏼🇬🇧👸🏼

Make sure you’ve got your tickets ready for this weekends Festival On The Farm over in Purton and ran by Purton House Organics!!! My lovely friend Claire from Stargazey Workshops along with other interesting stands will be there! A beautiful flower stand run by the lovely Sarah from The Little Flower Farm. Enjoy a lovely cuppa in vintage china and a slice of delicious cake at the Vintage Cafe!! ☕️🍰

What an amazing offer from the owners of this beautiful venue!!

HAVE YOU OR DO YOU KNOW SOMEONE WHO HAS THEIR 2019 WEDDING BOOKED WITH THOMAS COOK?

In light of the news today that Thomas Cook have gone into administration, we want to help by offering our wedding reception venue completely free of charge to 2 couples who had their wedding booked this year through Thomas Cook (proof of booking will be needed).

We can only imagine how stressful and upsetting it must be if you’re in the lead up to your wedding and you’ve just heard that Thomas Cook will not be able to fulfil this.
Our venue is near Pangbourne, Berkshire. We are a small, family run business with a 300 year old, dry hire barn reception venue and 13 years experience running weddings. There is a capacity for 120 and the venue will come with tables, chairs, rustic decorations and a music system. There’s no extra hidden costs from us but you will need to provide the catering/bar (we can help you with suppliers or you can DIY).

You can have the help of an on-site qualified wedding planner to help you get things re organised, also free of charge.
This is subject to available dates at the venue but there are plenty as we are now coming into our quieter season.

I‘m so lucky to live in such a beautiful part of the country, surrounded by some amazing wedding venues and talented wedding suppliers.

As well as writing an award winning wedding blog, I love working as a wedding marketing specialist, with 18 years experience in a number of industries.

As well as providing inspiration to brides and grooms in the Cotswolds, I continue to combine my previous 13 years of marketing experience, with my local knowledge, in the scope of the wedding industry. I provide marketing consultation to some local, independent wedding businesses in and around Witney, Oxfordshire and the Cotswolds where I’ve been affectionately titled the Wedding Inspector – a bit like the Alex Polizzi of the local wedding industry!

In particular, I’m honoured to currently work with local wedding venue, Cogges, and can’t wait to share their developments as they unfold.

It has certainly been a busy year already and it is excitedly looking good for the remainder of 2019.
