Many bride and grooms to be feel overwhelmed trying to figure out a budget. The chart above shows what percentage of your budget you could expect to use from a wedding planners perspective. Obviously the details above are just a guideline.

Wedding planning can be exhilarating but also comes with its fair share of stresses, especially when it comes down to managing finances. Many brides and grooms start their wedding journey with high hopes of sticking to a budget but more often than not can find themselves overwhelmed by creating and sticking to a budget which can quickly spiral out of control.

It’s easy to get drawn in with a Pinterest perfect vision and pressures to creating a flawless wedding. So, sit down together and have an honest discussion about your priorities, the must haves and areas where you are both willing to compromise.

Take the time to research different suppliers, compare prices and seek out those budget friendly alternatives without sacrificing quality. Many suppliers will be willing to work with couples to find a solution that fits your budget. It might be worth adding some wriggle room for any unexpected expenses that may arise .

And last of all and the most important point, remember your wedding day is about celebrating your love and committing to each other and not about breaking the bank!
