Absolutely delighted with my Christmas Wreath. I am always too busy to take part in the wreath making workshops at Byres Farm so was delighted when Bev and Caroline gave me one at the end of the weekend of workshops.

It is lovely to see so many people coming back every year as part of their festive traditions, along with lots of first timers to make their wreaths with

Bev and Caroline are brilliant teachers and everyone leaves with a beautiful wreath at the end of the session.

Welcome to Byres Farm

Byres farm is a mixed arable and livestock farm on the banks of the River Spey in Moray. It is farmed by the Smith family as part of their farming business. They grow malting barley for the Speyside Whisky industry, and keep beef cattle and sheep.

The family have created a unique facility on the farm to allow children and the public to see first hand what happens on a real farm. It is an opportunity to showcase Scottish farming to the public and educate people in the food production process, from field to fork. It is a great way of engaging the community with the Scottish countryside.

Byres Farm offers weekly groups for pre-school children and one off events for all ages. Farm tours, Group outings and corporate packages are also offered and can be tailored to suit your individual requirements.
