I’m so proud to share that I’ve joined forces with Mikeysline as a *Bee the Change Champion*!

Mental health is something I’m passionate about, and through this role, I’ll be helping to raise awareness, offer support, and spread positivity. 💛✨

As a Humanist Celebrant, pastoral care is a key part of what I do. Becoming a Mikeysline champion allows me to further this mission and help build a more compassionate and understanding community.

Fantastic morning at Inverness Chamber of Commerce Speed networking Shout out to the team at Inverness Botanic Gardens and the Grow project for the tour!

Not only is the Botanic gardens a great attraction for the area, it also wedding venue, a hub for volunteers and with a little help from the grow project it gives back to the community.

Met some really interesting people today and cannot wait to reconnect and see how we can help each other in the future.

One of the biggest challenges?

Imposter syndrome. 😔 Without the familiar structure of a traditional workplace, it’s easy to doubt yourself.

But here’s the silver lining: every piece of positive feedback from clients is a huge boost. 🌟 Their appreciation reassures you that you’re on the right path and doing amazing work. It’s a huge honor doing what I do, guiding people through life’s most meaningful moments.

So, if you’re feeling uncertain, remember – your clients believe in you, and so should you. 💪

I am incredibly honoured to have been asked to step in last minute as the celebrant for a wonderful couple's wedding. Their original plans fell through due to the wedding planners not truly listening to their wants and needs.

After just one Zoom call, we managed to turn things around, and now they're feeling excited and reassured about their big day again—a day they've spent nearly two years planning.

This experience highlights how crucial it is to meet your humanist celebrant, whether in person or online. As a significant part of your wedding day, a celebrant ensures that your ceremony reflects your unique love story and values. Being on the same page with your celebrant can make all the difference in creating a meaningful and memorable celebration.
