Finally picked some wild garlic! 🌿 Of course we had to make pesto and my first pasta shape pick is always tightly spiralled fusilli for pesto. 🍝 Some juicy ripe plum tomatoes stirred throughout 🍅 and roasted lemon Tenderstem on top 🥦 Cheeky sprinkle of vegan Parmesan (the one from Lidl is really good!) to finish 😋

A great way to use our ingredients from our market order that got cancelled.

BANANA BLOSSOM SPRING ROLLS

I love it when the recipe is perfect first time round!
We were supposed to be prepping all day for a market tomorrow but it was cancelled, so I took the opportunity to get in the kitchen and do some menu testing.

These have been an ongoing brainchild of mine for a while. I wanted to create a SOY FREE spring roll, that's tasty, uses no processed fake meats but delivers the satiety of a classic duck spring roll. I'm super happy with the results and I can't wait to share them with you!

For those of you wondering and waiting when you'll be able to get some fresh fudeboy goodness, I swear it is coming! We will no longer be doing the Monday lunch boxes (at this point in time anyway) as we've had to re-prioritise our time but there will be a fresh new Asian fusion menu this Summer, available to all you Fromies and anyone willing to travel!

Thanks to everyone at for helping us sell out at yesterday's beautiful frosty sunny market! 🌞 ❄️ 💚 We were so busy from start to finish we only managed to grab two photos after politely asking the very patient customers to wait another two seconds for their food while we took a snap 😉 📷 here is our full plate which proved the most popular option, the classic oki/mushrooms/sides but with Tash's new home made pickled chilli daikon that went down a treat. 🌶️ 💚 see you all in April!

Potato, Leek and White wine soup, with Beetroot croutons.

I had so many potatos that needed using and a half full month old, bottle of white. So I came up with this idea and it worked amazingly!

I cooked chopped garlic and thyme in vegan butter, then added potato and leek, cooked for 8 minutes, de-glazed with the wine and some stock, simmered till soft! Blended and added cream!

Cubed beetroot and roasted in the oven!

Yum all day long.
