I’m still taking bookings for a few more weddings next year! I love to use my own grown and other British flowers as much as possible to create my loose and slightly wild style. Whether you want the full shebang of pedestals and arches or bouquets and DIY buckets of flowers to style your venue yourself, I might just be your florist. You can message me via Instagram with any enquiries.
This was the lovely Lisa’s bouquet who married just last weekend. All grown at my farm in Bleasby apart from the gypsophila and a few spray roses. Gyp was her grandma’s favourite so was a must have for her bouquet.

Go go go! Grab a bargain but you’ll need to let me know very quickly if you’d like one of these lovely paper wrapped bouquets. I’m not here tomorrow (I’m working on a wedding) so I’m wrapping up what I have and letting it go to a new home this evening. £15 with free local delivery. Message or call to secure yours.
.
I’m just wrapping some delphiniums and asters too if you like the blues.
Snapdragons in the flower field.
These have got to be one of my favourite flowers to grow and arrange with 💕 @runningwildfloraldesign based at Manor Farm, Bleasby, Nottinghamshire.
Fancy learning to spiral those stems and make a hand-tied bouquet? There’s still time to join our workshop this Friday evening at 5pm @manorfarmteashoppe Message or call me for more details. 💐
Happy #gardendayuk thankfully that’s blossom falling today and not rain!! 💕
New shop tour!
I thought I’d give you a little tour of the new shop and workshop space. I’m really pleased with what we have accomplished in just 2 weeks and we have more lovely local makers bringing in their wares over the coming weeks, from artworks, candles, cards, wrapping and more.
.
The plant babies for the field are waiting in the wings for the cold nights to clear off but I have some hardened off that are going into beds this coming week. The slow flowers are coming... slowly!!!
.
Have a lovely Sunday x
.
P.S more video footage over on Instagram if you’d like to see it.
I know I shared this on stories but I just love the bright spring colours and the sound of birdsong in the background. Perfect for a sunny Easter weekend I think.
.
We had a lovely afternoon in a friends garden yesterday and it felt like we were transported back to a pre-pandemic care free time. It felt so good to feel ‘normal’, that our relationships with family and friends can get back some quality time. Maybe we can start to catch up on all the birthdays and other special dates that have missed.
.
It’s a chilly but bright one out there, so I hope you can get to enjoy it with loved ones x

Rose Planting at Manor Farm
Eeek did my first IGTV / me in front of the camera bit today... be kind 🙈🤣 Planting up the new David Austin bare root roses at the farm 🌹
Soil delivery 🚚💃💪
This may just look like a mound of muck, but to me this is the earth!! Badoom boom 😂 seriously though, this 20 tonnes of lovely soil will fill up all of the no-dig raised beds then they’ll have a topping of manure ready to grow some happy healthy blooms this year and beyond. Just the small matter of shovelling and wheelbarrowing to contend with now. Have a look over on stories to see a bit more of today’s events 💪
.
A little bit of June, with birdsong (and chicken squaks) to help you look forward, and onto happier times ahead.
.
.
Today I’m going to bring some compost indoors to thaw out so I can start sowing sweet peas into pots that will then sit on the kitchen window sill until they germinate. Next year, I will sow them in the autumn, but now that I have my lovely space at the farm underway, I thought I’d quickly get a row (or two) prepared for this year. I couldn’t bare to miss the chance of the gorgeous scent of sweet peas and their butterfly-like flowers. They will still do well and flower this year, just a little later and perhaps not quite as bushy. So if you haven’t sow any yet, why not start them off on the window sill this week too 🌱

It is with huge excitement that I can now reveal the most happy of news, that @runningwildfloraldesign is embarking on a new adventure for 2021 creating a flower farm at Manor Farm in Bleasby. Despite the freezing temperatures we have been busy getting started this week! You may remember back in September that I was over the moon to be offering my first floral workshop @manorfarmteashoppe, well since then Caroline and Andrew from Manor Farm and I have been busy hatching a plan that will enable me to grow gorgeous British flowers in #bleasby Nottinghamshire.
.
.
I have been growing flowers to sell from my own cutting garden for a few years now, and working from my home studio as a qualified florist, but I have been itching to expand my business and growing space. Meeting the lovely couple that own and run the farm felt like it was meant to be as we were each looking for a project to inspire and motivate us, to propel us past the set backs of 2020 and create a new challenge for 2021 that will enable us to share flowers with local Nottinghamshire people through bouquets, workshops and events.
.
.
As the famous quote goes ‘To plant a garden is to believe in tomorrow’. Audrey Hepburn 🌱 Here’s to believing in tomorrow and I’m so looking forward to seeing this view grow tomorrow, and every day! Happy New Year to you all, let’s make it a great one, and hopefully, I may even see you at the farm for a bunch of flowers one day ⛅️
.
.
Have a look over on stories if you’d like to see a little more of what’s been happening at the farm today.
Isn’t nature great, just look at that proboscis! think this might be a hummingbird hawk moth having a lovely drink of pollen from the phlox, can anyone tell me if that’s a correct identification?
.
.
Just another reason to love my cutting garden 😊

The fabulous recipient of this wedding anniversary bouquet took this great little clip for Instagram! I love how the colours and the romance come across with the perfectly matched music! A clear reminder to me that I need to develop my Instagram skills but I’m so thankful that she captured the romantic styling so well.
.
.
Thanks also to @leafylaneflowers for letting me loose at her flower farm with my snips and also to my neighbour Margaret for the beautiful beech foliage that I knew would be perfect for this colour scheme. I love it when a plan comes together.

A posy style bouquet please... coming right up 🌸💐😊 Filled with beautiful blooms and twiddly bits.

A florists work is never dull, from dodging the rain last week to keeping the flowers cool this week. I love this hot weather but the cut flowers don’t so much, so if you have any in your home, do keep an eye on their water level and keep them out of the sunlight to help them last their longest.
.
.
In other news, the first few dahlia buds are unfurling and I couldn’t be more excited!! Like an expectant mother! 😆 Much to the relief of my husband, I’m happy with plant babies now, 3 human babies are enough 😄
