Not our usual delivery area, but how could we not be involved in the 85th anniversay of Operation Dynamo on the glorious Medway Queen.

She is hosting a party this evening for the 85th celebrations.

All the little ships headed off to Dunkirk this morning, they sail back on Bank Holiday Monday, which is worth a trip to Ramsgate to see them return.

The Medway Queen needs a tug, she has no boiler, so couldn't make the journey to Dunkirk, but was towed from Gillingham to Ramsgate to be there.

Happy St Georges Day.

Today we commemorate the death of St. George, the patron saint of England. 

It is a day to celebrate English national identity.

May you feast upon all that is English and raise your pot of tea to our history.
