Please note, 12 Guitars have unfortunately had to cancel their show this weekend at The Boardwalk, but we look forward to it coming back in 2025...keep an eye on their socials for a new date being announced soon 🎸🎼

We are really disappointed to announce that due to operational reasons we have made the difficult decision this evening to postpone the Glasgow Guitar Show to next year. All advanced ticket purchases have been fully refunded.

We have contacted all of the performers, exhibitors, sponsors and traders.

We will announce the new date as soon as possible and hope you can join us then.

A massive thanks to the B&Q Community Volunteers from Parkhead B&Q, who have transformed the 'cave' in The Boardwalk. From dull and lifeless to bright and inviting!

The room will be used by young people as a social/studio space within The Boardwalk.

Scotland's AI Strategy held their Creative AI Forum at The Boardwalk, making full use of the venue. From the theatre to workshops spaces, networking and interactive activities in the foyer to using the boardroom as a quiet space for attendees.

We spoke to their Engagement & Participation Lead, Calum McDonald, on why they chose The Boardwalk for their event and their overall experience.

We are delighted to have been awarded funding as part of the small grants programme, for The Boardwalk Theatre. The funding is going to help cover the costs of replacing key stage lighting from tungsten to LED, which can reduce energy use by up to 80%!
