Working in conjunction with each other
Santa and grinch were at the thorniewood community council pantomime on the 6th dec.
And then they went to
Aitkenhead primary on
wed the 18th dec
Tannochside primary and nursery on Thursday 19th dec
Jonh Paul primary and nursery and laburnum nursery on
Fri 20 th dec
all the kids receive a selection box.
Also on Santa’s list was
High gate and rose park care homes were all the residents received a selection box to

What a very sad day for the community of Birkenshaw. The labour group in North Lanarkshire have voted today to close the sports Barn.

Both Labour councillors in the ward voted to close instead of protecting this community asset. Going against the leader of the councils word of no closers of community building in 2023.

This is a facility that I used as a child and have found memories that our younger generation will not get the chance of.

A sad sad day for the community of birkenshaw.
