Our gorgeous twin girls Luna and Iris were born yesterday 24/2/24 a bit earlier than planned at 33 weeks. They are spending some time in NICU but are both doing amazingly well! It’s been a very stressful few days involving an ambulance ride to Dundee but I feel so very lucky with the care we have all received and I’m so in love with these tiny girls! A massive thank you to Jack who kept me calm throughout too. Cannot wait for Rosa to meet her little sisters! How am I a mother of 3 now?! Luckiest woman alive ❤️

CLASSES ARE BACK! I’m officially on maternity leave now as I am far too big to work 🐳 and still trying to sort out the new house in time for the twins arrival 😅 BUT the mixed aged free play craft sessions are back next week and being run by the lovely Kerry! Kerry is a primary teacher and mum of two who loves crafting 🎨 I’m very excited to have her on board!
Classes will be on Mondays and Tuesdays 10-11.30am and can be booked through my website. Message me with any questions ❤️ I’m going to miss seeing you all but will hopefully not be gone for long and I’m always up for a chat so don’t be a stranger 💕

We have a special event coming up on the 3rd February!
Join me and for an informative, educational coffee morning dedicated to unravelling the mysteries of baby and toddler sleep (I know I’m going to need this info in a few weeks!😅)
Lucy’s approach is gentle, supported by the latest sleep science and bespoke to each infants individual needs. She will share her knowledge and discuss effective strategies for ensuring a peaceful nights sleep for you and your little one.
Come along, have a cup of tea or coffee and learn with other parents in the same sleep deprived boat as you 😴😅🥰

Classes are back next week! I’m dipping my toe back in tentatively (I’m VERY pregnant now so taking each week as it comes) but have organised some mixed age free play craft sessions! These will be a mix of the toddler class and free play sessions. They’ll be 90 mins long and start with a story - the kids can choose which one! Then we will have loads of time to play with toys, various activities and also do some crafting! I’ll have loads of crafty bits available for your child to make whatever they like! Maybe they’ll be inspired by the story or maybe they’ll make something up as they go, let their imagination run wild! The session will end with a parachute game and bubbles.
This week they will be Monday, Tuesday and Friday. 10 spaces available, sibling discount is on website too.

Our baby Christmas parties have been so cute! In the first week we made Christmas cards and in the second party we made Christmas tree decorations! The last party is on Friday morning and we will make wooden handprint baubles! We also sing lots of Christmas songs and have some games! Only a few tickets left so book soon if you’d like to come 🎄🎁🎅

Next weeks Christmas crafts! We are making a super cute Rudolph and a Christmas card to give to a loved one! We also have a new treasure hunt, activity board and play dough in the messy tray and new gifts for the end! The first week of Christmas parties is over! It was SO fun and lovely! I’m feeling very festive now 🥰🎄
Week two (Sunday Friday and Saturday) are all SOLD OUT but add your name to the waiting list and I’ll message if anyone cancels. In the mixed age party we are making Christmas cards and Rudolph decorations as well as new treasure hunts, activity board, messy tray and different gifts at the end! In the baby party on Friday morning we are making free decorations! And of course .janice.vivienne will be here taking GORGEOUS family photos for you all (seriously, how beautiful are these photos?!) Tickets are selling well for week one of our Christmas Craft Parties! Saturday 2nd, Sunday 3rd and Friday 8th December 10-12 and 2-4 with a special baby party on Friday 8th 10-11.30am! At the craft party we will make a super cute wreath and write our letters to Santa! We will have playdough, a treasure hunt, an activity board, loads of colouring sheets, a room full of toys and bubbles! Each week is a different craft - make a Christmas card, a tree decoration and a handprint bauble 🎄You will also get a special gift to take home with you too 🎁 We will be joined by the lovely family photographer .janice.vivienne there on the day to do mini family photo shoots with the option to purchase digital copies or prints from her after the party. 📸
Best suited for around 4 months to walking age but younger and older are very welcome along, this is just a guide.

🎅 Our Christmas Craft Parties are fast approaching! The first week starts on 2nd December and they finish on the 23rd. Each week we will have different crafts, colouring sheets, treasure hunts and gifts so you can come more than once and not be repeating 🎄
We are also going to be joined by the fabulous family photographer .janice.vivienne who will give you the option to have a mini Christmas photoshoot with your little ones! Digital copies and prints can then be ordered via Janice after the events. I will also be doing some festive face painting and we will have party games and bubbles!

🎄Christmas Craft Party tickets are ON SALE NOW! 🎄

Join us for a Festive Christmas craft party!

We will have lots of Christmassy crafting as well as loads of painting and colouring!

If that isn’t enough, we will also have the amazing professional family photographer .janice.vivienne coming along to take lovely photos of you if you would like! You can then chose to purchase prints or digital copies directly from Janice after the event. 📸

There will also be a Christmas treasure hunt and a room full of fun toys, role play toys and dressing up!

I will be providing some festive face painting too! We will end the event with party games and bubbles 🫧

As a special treat you will also get a little gift to take home with you! 🎁

Each week will be a different set of arts and crafts, new treasure hunts and colouring sheets too so you can come along more than once and not be repeating anything. Our mixed age parties are best suited for 18 months to around 5 years old (however younger and older children are very welcome along. I have a sibling discount on my website and siblings under 18 months are free)

We will also have a special BABY PARTIES on Friday 8th, 15th and 22nd at 10-11.30am. These will be similar to the toddler party, but with lots more baby toys and simpler crafts for little hands.

I’ve had to make some changes to the Halloween parties - I have a scan on the 25th that can’t be moved so I’ve had to cancel that party but I’ve added Wednesday 1st November instead! If you’ve been to a class in the last few months and thought I seemed distracted, exhausted and sick … I’ve been keeping a pretty massive secret!

I’m going to have a lot of scans and appointments so classes might get moved about a bit in the next few months - I appreciate your patience! I’m not sure what I’m going to do about classes while I’m off but I know for sure I’m not closing and I’ll make it work somehow 💪🏻

Just want to keep you updated on the schedule for the classes in the next few weeks! I’m going on a family holiday for 2 weeks and then taking Rosa to London for her birthday 🥳 so sadly the regular classes will be off for a few weeks. But FEAR NOT! I’ve planned the special events to be before the holiday and between the holiday and London so I won’t be totally closed for too long! The last regular classes will be next week and will resume Monday 21st August. Our special events are 24-27th July and 12-14th August! ☀️✈️

Messy Painting! I love seeing the kids getting messy with paint, they are always so happy! The class is the perfect place for you to let your child experiment and play with paint and colours… and you don’t need to worry about cleaning up after! 😅🎨

Tomorrow is world teddy bear picnic day and is collecting teddy bears to give away to children who might need them! All next week I will be collecting teddies at my classes to send up to Aberdeen at the weekend!
All they ask is that the bears are in excellent condition and a good cuddling size!

“Small and simple things such as a teddy bear can make a huge difference to a child living in poverty. It can provide a moment of comfort and companionship on both the sunny and the rainy days.” 🐻 ☀️ 🌧️

Our classes this week have been Bluey (spaces left for Sundays Toddler class) and next week we will have Hey Duggee and Peppa the week after! We have Frozen (almost sold out) Toy Story, Paw Patrol and Spiderman events in July and August too!

Can’t wait for the Christmas parties to start back on Friday! Last weekend was SO much fun, really Christmassy and lovely 🎄 Friday we have our first baby party where we will be making a Christmas card and our last mixed age party of week one where we will write our letters to Santa and make wreaths! There are also loads of Christmas activities, face painting, toys, games and bubbles! Our Halloween craft parties start TOMORROW! I am SO excited! 🎃👻 There is a couple of tickets left here and there, have a look on my website and join my waiting list in case anyone cancels. Room on the Broom class today was lovely! We read the story with help from some characters, made potions and spells at the activity board and messy tray, coloured in and painted, made wands, did a treasure hunt, parachute game and bubbles! Room on the broom is on all week and older siblings are very welcome as the schools are off! I have a sibling discount code on my website. Next week we are having our Halloween craft parties!!! The Tiger Who Came To Tea class this week! Loads of messy fun! We made fabulous tiger masks 🐯

This week we are reading about a poor old fox who’s lost his socks! 🦊 🧦 The children were brilliant at helping fox find his socks when we were reading the story, taking turns to lift the flaps 📚 we then had a treasure hunt, we paired socks up in the messy tray, matched them on the blackboard, painted, designed our own socks and had loads of free play! At the end of the class we did a parachute game and bubbles 🫧 Join us for a class this week!Next week we are reading about a tiger who came to tea 👀 🐯 ☕️

Today we had a very colourful class as we read Hey Duggee and the Colour Badge! We learned all about mixing colours to make new colours and the children created absolute works of art! 🎨 👩‍🎨 We also had a treasure hunt, activity board, playdough colour mixing, loads of free play, games and bubbles 🫧 What a lovely start to a sunny day! We will do this class again on Wednesday and Friday! Next week we are reading a Peppa Pig book! 🐷

Our emotions activity board is so much fun! But it also a really good tool to show children how simple tweaks of facial expressions can make them have a completely different emotion. It helps us open up conversation to talk about emotions and feelings through play. I personally LOVE this board and think it might be my favourite!Our last “Barbara throws a wobbler” class is on Sunday, come along and learn about big feelings! 😁😭🤪

Wow what a week!!! We had EIGHT back to back sold out craft parties! Toy Story, Paw Patrol, Spider-Man and Frozen! We painted, bounced on the bouncy castle, crafted all sorts of cool things, had a visit from Spider-Man himself, had treasure hunts, got our faces painted, danced, had party games, bubbles and crafty gifts at the end! I’m so grateful to everyone who came along and for all the lovely reviews so far! Thank you thank you thank you!!! 🩷I’ll be back in August to do it all again! This week we are reading “The Paper Dolls” by Julia Donaldson. This is one of my absolute favourite children’s books and I’m amazed I’ve not cried reading it (yet😂) The room is decorated with big hanging paper dolls and we read the story with lots of props. The children enjoyed helping me with each prop too! We also had a jigsaw activity board, a messy tray full of paper to practice our snipping skills with plastic scissors. We coloured and painted paper doll pictures and made our own paper dolls to take home. There was a treasure hunt around the room too. I loved designing and painting this mural for a garden room and wanted to show you a peek at the process! Firstly the client sent me photos of the room and design inspiration they liked. I then came up with an initial sketch and a quote and they came back with things they liked and didn’t. I did another sketch and played about with different shapes and colours until it was perfect!
