And with that, James and Lily's first edit of their wedding film is now complete. Here's a look at the timeline. Our team arrive a couple of hours before the ceremony to film details of the venue, the surrounding area, and to familiarise ourselves with the location. It also allows us to meet with the couple and introduce ourselves.
Depending on your film package, we will fly the drone to get some arial shots of your venue and location and film little details that you might miss or forget.
Then we film your ceremony room, your guests arriving, a nervous partner waiting at the end of the aisle, the other half of the couple stepping out of their car or entering the venue followed by the entire venue from 3 different positions to ensure the best coverage possible.
After the ceremony we will film the couple shoot, as much of the group shots as we can, capturing all the little bits in-between the photos that you won't remember, or you might miss.
From there we film your guests mingling and having a great time - lots of smiling faces - and if possible, your entertainment doing their thing whilst you have your couples photos taken (Don't worry - there's two of us, so we can film both!)
Then we film you entering the reception room with your family and friends cheering before we film the entirety of the speeches. And then it's onto the cake cutting and before you know it, it's the first dance!
We're there for it all. Prep in the morning is also included as part of our Platinum Package. I'll always try my best to send you a short trailer from your special day a week or two afterwards so you can get a glimpse of the video, and then it's onto the edit along with the other weddings we are putting together at the time.
3 cameras, 10+ hours of footage, sound, all put together on the timeline, synced up and then cut together. I leave everything in. I like to present an almost documentary style approach to the day.
Then the video is exported, the computer crunches away and once I check it over, I upload a private link to YouTube for the couple to watch. Any changes can be requested at this stage and I will do my best to accommodate them. And when it's signed off, I send it via WeTransfer for you to download and keep forever.
Our most popular packages are the GOLD PACKAGE, at £1000 (or £800 if you pay up front) which is a full length video from the ceremony to the first dance. And our PLATINUM PACKAGE at £1500 (or £1300 if you pay up front- currently £1000 if you pay up front until the end of December) which includes prep to the first three dances and drone footage (if permitted!).
We also provide a PHOTOGRAPHY & VIDEO combo with Wardrope Photography for £1600 and £2600. We'll knock it down to £2300 if you pay for the video package up front.
