Well what a fantastic evening it was last night at King's Academies Gosport Community Hub for the Service families Wreath making session.
In the Hub we had a Christmas Wreath making evening and I can say we definitely had some hidden talents of Wreath makers!

What a way to start the Christmas festivities, We look forward to seeing lots of well decorated front doors.

⭐ We did it! King's Group Academies Gosport Community Hub wins Community Contribution Award ⭐

We are absolutely delighted to share that the King’s Academy Gosport Community Hub has won the Community Contribution Award at the Gosport Business Awards this evening!

As a small team of three, we work hard every day to support families, build connections, and strengthen our community. But this award isn’t just ours — it belongs to every organisation, partner and person who has worked alongside us.
Collaboration is at the heart of everything we do, and this recognition reflects that shared effort.

We are also so grateful to the Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity for funding so many of our projects and believing in the vision of the Hub. Your support has changed lives and strengthened families across our community.

We are so proud of our community and grateful for the chance to serve it.

They will support you or someone you know or live with, care for, or are/have been affected by a life limiting/progressive illness.
This is a drop in service where you will be able to receive a very friendly welcome from their wonderful team.

Today, as a White Ribbon Accredited Organisation, King’s Group Academies is recognising White Ribbon Day.
This year’s theme is .

Across our schools, we are using White Ribbon UK materials to explore what it means to speak up when something doesn’t feel right. We are teaching our students that they have the power to influence culture by challenging harmful “banter”, supporting one another, and promoting respect in all interactions.

This work reflects our KGA core values:

🟣 Honesty – Encouraging open, meaningful conversations about healthy, respectful relationships.
🟣 Faith – Believing in our young people to lead the way in building a culture of equality and mutual respect.
🟣 Courage – Empowering students to be upstanders: to speak up, challenge harmful attitudes, and stand by those who need support.

Prom Clothing Event – Today, 1pm–3pm! 👗🤵

We’re excited to open the Gosport Community Hub today for our first prom clothing event of the year – now in its fourth year, and growing bigger and better every time!

A huge thank you to everyone in the local community who has donated such beautiful dresses, suits, and accessories. Your generosity means that young people can look and feel amazing for their special day.

We’re also incredibly grateful to our local businesses, such as The Bridal Hall for donating stunning gowns that make this event extra special.

Everything is completely free to take home – helping families save money and reducing waste by giving these gorgeous outfits a new lease of life.

Pop in today between 1pm and 3pm and find the perfect outfit for prom. We can’t wait to welcome you!

We have been very busy sorting out all the beautiful Prom dresses and suits ready for tomorrow's Prom Event at The Gosport Community Hub.
All are welcome to pop in and view our beautiful dresses and suits that have been kindly donated by the local community and also by The Bridal Hall of Gosport.
All outfits are free to borrow.
We look forward to seeing you tomorrow between 1pm and 3pm.

Here at Gosport Community Hub we are holding a Prom Event, Saturday 22nd November 2025 1pm till 3pm.

This is where you can come along and borrow a Prom dress or suit for free.

We have a large collection of dresses and suits that have been kindly donated by the local community and local shops.

We would like All year 11's in the area to be able to attend their Prom. This opportunity is for everyone to be given a chance to do this.
