It was wonderful to meet so many people at HMS Collingwood open day on Saturday 28th June, meeting people form the local area who where there to support the day and enjoy all of the wonderful stalls and entertainment and those of you who had travelled to be part of the day to see your family and friends take part in the fantastic Field Gun event.
Being part of these community events helps to spread the word to everyone about all of the amazing work, support and help that is available for all.

It was a pleasure to be part of the day. Thank you to all who donated for our tombola and to all who took part and came over to chat with us to find out more about the work we do.

✨ It’s PROM NIGHT for our fabulous Year 11s ✨

Tonight marks a special milestone for our students at King's Academy Brune Park and tomorrow, King's Academy Bay House and Bridgemary School and we couldn’t be prouder. A huge well done to everyone celebrating.

We’d also like to give a special mention to those wearing one of our donated prom dresses or suits. Not only do you look amazing, but you're also helping us reduce waste and promote sustainability by giving outfits a second chance to shine. 🌍♻️

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who donated — your kindness is making a real difference.

🌟 Sharing Success Across Schools 🌟

We’re so proud to see the Service Child Ambassador model we introduced 18 months ago in our secondary schools, in Gosport continuing to grow across the schools in our Service Cluster Group.

One of the greatest strengths of our Service Cluster Group is the way we share ideas and best practice to support Service children across our communities. It’s brilliant to see schools adopting and adapting our approaches that our help raise the voice and visibility of our Service families. This is why groups like this are so important!💜

Helping Service Children Feel Part of Our King's Group Academy Community.

This week we welcomed Service children who will be joining King's Academy Bay House. This gave them a chance to meet the team, including two of our service ambassadors, hear what we do, and start forming those early relationships with each other.
We then joined their school-wide transition evening, connecting with more children and families to help them feel part of our community from the outset.
Next week, we’re excited to do the same King's Academy Brune Park
For Service children, transitions, or changes in circumstances, often happen more frequently. That’s why establishing key points of contact early on is essential. When done well, transitions can be viewed not as something to fear, but as positive, exciting experiences that support success on a global stage.

With Summer nearly upon us and the new academic year just around the corner it's that time of year again when you will be looking at new school uniforms for your children.
Here at Gosport Community Hub we have a selection of polo shirts, shirts, school trousers, skirts and dresses. We also have some local schools branded sweatshirts and cardigans.
All these items have very kindly been donated to us.
If you will be needing any uniform and would like to come along and have a look please contact us to arrange a time to pop in.
