We have been very busy collecting more Prom dresses and suits which will be available to everyone at our next Prom event.
We have been donated 20 brand new prom dresses from which we are extremely grateful for and also very excited to be able to offer these to all the students in our area.
Please come along to our event on Saturday 25th January 1pm till 3pm.

There is rooms available to be able to try on your outfit and you can take it away with you on the day.

Christmas Good Grub Club was great fun last night.
Sausage wreaths and the Grinch fruit kebabs were made and then gingerbread houses were built back at the hub.
Everyone had an amazing festive time. All families enjoyed their time with us and went home full of the festive spirit.

Spreading Kindness Beyond Borders 💙💛
Last week, we had the honour of delivering Christmas gift boxes and other donations to the Ukrainian Relief Charity, all generously provided by the incredible people of Gosport.

These gifts are more than just items. They’re a message of hope and solidarity for those affected by the ongoing crisis. Supporting Ukraine is one way to teach our children valuable lessons, such as empathy, showing that kindness knows no borders, social responsibility by raising awareness of global issues, and community spirit by highlighting Gosport’s generosity and shared values. Through positive role modelling, we inspire the next generation to care and take action. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed. Your kindness is truly making a difference!

The Hub is providing the opportunity for parents / carers to attend the Talking Teens course starting in January 2025.
This will enable adults to understand the feelings of teenagers regarding their Behaviours, Emotions, Maintaining and improving the relationships the teen has.

Southern Water will be at Gosport Community Hub on Friday 13th December 5pm till 8pm. Pop by and have a chat with their team to find out more. Your questions and feedback are really important as they work together to protect our local environment. They would like to reconnect your roof gutters and downpipes to the surface water sewer, at no cost to you, so they can reduce the use of storm overflows and any chance of flooding.

We will be holding an NVR course at Gosport Community Hub starting on Monday 20th January 2025, 5.30pm till 7.30pm.
NVR stands for Non-Violent Resistance and was originally developed as an approach to parenting and caring for those young
people who are violent, risk taking, aggressive or self destructive.

A course for Adult Aces is being held at Gosport Community Hub starting on Monday 20th January 2025 at 9.30am till 11.30am for all parents and carers.
It provides guidance on protective factors that help improve the impact of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and practical methods for parents to develop the resilience they need for themselves and their children.

🌟 A Space for Relaxation and Connection for our Armed Forces and Veteran community. 🌟

Today, our Armed Forces families enjoyed a serene session with the amazing Lisa Maniatis, The Yoga Being 🧘‍♀️. Thanks to funding from the Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity (RNRMC), these free yoga sessions provide a wonderful opportunity to unwind, connect, and find a moment of peace.

Whether you're looking to de-stress, improve strength and flexibility, or simply take some time for yourself, this group is here to support YOU. Lisa is a very experienced teacher and can adapt her sessions to all needs, so do not let the fact that you have not done this before be a barrier to you attending.

We are still collecting items for our Shoe Box appeal for the children of Ukraine.
We have been given some beautiful boxes we would like to use for this so any items that you would like to donate to go in these boxes would be greatly appreciated.
There is a list of items on the poster but any small item that's appropriate for a child of any age would be very welcome so we can make up boxes for a variety of ages.

A Heartfelt Thank You to the Gosport Community!

Today’s Prom Dress Event was a beautiful success! Thanks to the generous donations from our local community and the dedication of staff who gave up their weekends to make it happen. Because of your kindness, young people found their dream dresses. Not only does this help families save money, as it is completely free but it also makes a positive impact on the environment by giving these gowns a second chance to shine.

Do not worry of you could not make it today, as we will be hosting another event in January 2025.
