It’s British Flower week 3rd June-9th June. Carisbrooke Priory are hosting the Flower Festival organised by Jayne Robert’s. It is open Tuesday ,Wednesday & Friday 10-4. We have been lucky to be involved our display is Afternoon Tea with Blossom & Twigs in the Meadow our display is down the Cloister Corridor next to the green door leading out to the garden.
There are lots of lovely displays being shown by lots of talented people if you get a chance pop up they have a cafe to💐

After our first scheduled Makers Market was cancelled last month due to the weather warnings, we are delighted that all is on track for May!

It is now less than a week until our very first Makers Market (but technically 2nd) with I Love Wight - and we truly are excited!

We have so many incredible Island makers and artists joining us - plus, there will be coffee and fresh doughnuts!

These Wild Garlic & Cheese Scones are amazing got home popped them in the oven delicious warm then added a bit of butter that was all you needed,we had the last 2 sadly had to share between 3 but so big was fine,they tasted & smelt So So Good@The Quitky Teapot at Staplehurst Grange (old lavender farm)😋

As from our Facebook statement yesterday, the unrelenting rain has called for a change of date for the 2024 Isle of Wight Spring Art & Garden Fair to the 18th & 19th May when we hope the sun will be shining and the parkland nice and dry! Of course this is hugely disappointing, but definitely the right decision with the forecast next week.

A huge thanks to all our fantastic exhibitors, suppliers and sponsors who have been so understanding of the need to move things, but nobody wants to be walking around on muddy grass!

If you’ve pre-purchased a ticket, then those will be still be valid for the new dates, but we’ll get in touch by email with everyone to update you on the situation.

We’ll have some more space for additional exhibitors in May, so get in touch if you want to be involved by emailing [email protected]

We look forward to bringing you a fantastic late spring show in seven weeks time.

We had a lovely evening at our flower club last night at West Wight Floral Group,Jenni & I were asked to do a demo on the practice evening regarding recycling ♻️🤔Jenni spoke about the types of foam oasis/bio/Agra regarding the environment side of using them,We started collecting different items to see what we could come up with,,fruit/cheese nets are a great grid to use securing with elastic band & ribbon,jam/bottles ,leaves in recycled vases to hide mechanics,drink cartons,chicken wire & what we are known for are our Everlasting Flowers which we do so well & are recycled Flowers,Jenni came up with a way of recycling our Birch as we love it they looked Fab,It’s amazing what you can come up with and how you can be inventive,The group did a fab job with lots of ideas,Barbara did a display using a handbag which was very good 💐♻️Well done ladies another great night ,Thank you for asking us both 💐💐

It’s British Flower Week & Us British Love our Gardens,I had a lovely early stroll around the garden as I was admiring the Poppies & Peonies which Smell Devine, I love to watch the flowers wake up especially in the sun it’s amazing how they grow, nature is such a wonder thing thing,you can loose yourself for hours in the garden,Enjoy your Flowers 💗💐

British Flower Festival on the Isle Of Wight,We really enjoyed creating Afternoon Tea with Blossom & Twigs in the Meadow💐If you get a chance to visit Carisbrooke Priory open Wednesday & Friday 10-4 this week,We were all given the brief British Flowers so it’s lovely to see so many different designs,go & have a look at all the lovely displays you can also get Teas & Cakes in the cafe 🍰

We arrived in London yesterday dropped our luggage at our lovely hotel & we were of to see the Flowers at Kings Rd,Sloane Square & others then of for our Afternoon Tea Treat at The Ivy with celebs 🤭enjoying the sunshine lots more to come now ready to go to Chelsea Flower Show 💐💐💐

We have some Lovely White Lavender only a few left such a lovely Fresh looking plant will come back every year if you look after it good time to get planted in & enjoy it grow 🤍message if you would like one, only £10 each 🤍
