This Sunday 10th November is Remembrance Day. Join us for the service at 10.45am, as we observe the two minutes' silence at 11am and remember those who gave their lives in wars later at the War Memorial.

Also. the Great Horkesley 2025 Calendar is now on sale, containing local photos taken by the winners of the Photo Competitiion held in the summer. £10 each or two for £17.50.

This morning Rev Em was ordained priest in a wonderful service at St. Botolphs. Join us tomorrow for a united service in St. Peter and St. Paul's Church, Little Horkesley, 10.30am where Emma will preside for the first time, followed by lunch in the Little Horkesley village hall. All welcome.

It's Great Horkesley's Harvest Praise Service on Sunday 22 September at All Saints' church followed by lunch at St John's. Our uniformed organisations (Scouts, Cubs, etc) will be there with their flags on Parade, and Boxted Methodist Silver Band will be playing.

All are welcome to the service at 11am at All Saints church, and to the Harvest Lunch at 12.30 at St John's church. A great time was had at the Fun Morning at St John's yesterday. With a Summer theme we made all sorts of craft activities, and there were tasty refreshments ... and ice creams and lollies. Look out for the next FUN MORNING in October Half Term 🙂 (Photos taken with parental permission)

Don't forget the Cafe at St John's is open every Thursday morning 10 - 11.30 (9.45-11.45 if you want to pick up recycling resources).
There's a play area for little ones to enjoy while you have a sit down and cup of coffee, or just come along with a friend for a chat. Refreshments are free but a small donation is welcomed. 🙂
