📢🚨⚠️FREE EVENT 📢🚨⚠️

Don't forget Support Session for Parents and Carers this evening.

As this is a Support Session we will be focusing on activities and upcoming sessions to support families, carers, parents, siblings and health and wellbeing of all - this is not an average play session.

We are here to help.

We will be looking at what sessions parents and Carers feel they would like to see from the LittleLegz Community SEN Centre over the coming months and who you would like to have come in for sessions.

These are free sessions with the intention to provide resources/signposting and also guest sessions from professionals, you will also be meeting other parents and carers who are also on the pathway with their child/teen.

We would like to welcome old and new members to gain information from you all about what support is lacking and what you would like to see moving forward.

We are aware there is SEN Play Session on tonight which is fantastic as there is still a lack of specifically designated sessions for our lovely customers. To see these popping up is brilliant and gives everyone more variety so if you cannot make it and want to send over some suggestions, our inbox is open

Here are some of the resources we have for sleep hygiene. We also have some sleep diaries if anyone would like a copy please do email me and I'll send these over.
We have lots of resources on lots of topics, please don't hesitate to ask, if we've got it we will share it, if we haven't, we will try our best to find it for you 💫🫶

We also have some relaxation at bedtime routines and breathing technique worksheets by The Sleep Charity.

We can work a full session around sleep from crafting sleep masks with your little one to advise and support around sleep routines and onto yoga to promote relaxation and sleep.

If anyone does need support please do contact us. We are happy to help where we can 🥰

🎉🎉12 months of SEN Sunday sessions 🎉🎉

This Sunday we will be celebrating 12 months of SEN Sunday Sessions 🥰

That's 12 months of messy play, tuff trays, paints, slime and random items brought together to make our themes work. I'm so proud of our little team 🫶

We have loved seeing all our lovely customers on a Sunday and Wednesday over the past 12 months and we hope you have enjoyed being part of the journey.

We will be continuing to provide sessions to our community and welcome any ideas and suggestions from you guys of what you would like to see in the centre this year!

But for now... thank you all for the support this year and we hope to see as many of you as possible on Sunday.

📢INCOMING ANNOUNCEMENT📢

SEN SUPPORT GROUP

THE LAST MONDAY OF EVERY MONTH

LittleLegz Community SEN Centre

We will be offering a free 1 and half hour session every month for parents and carers to come and vent, we will offer support and guidance as well as signposting to services.

As some of our lovely customers may know, we have many years experience in the social and health care sector and we want to bring that knowledge to our SEN Groups to support you all through what can be a very challenging time.

The first session will be a chance to see what support you may need and then we can look at what we can do to help and if they are any sessions we can provide with relevant professionals.

Or if you would just like to come and have a brew, the cafe will be open.

🚨🚨🚨 job opportunity 🚨🚨🚨

We are currently looking for an outgoing fun individual to join our team to oversee the daily running of our SEN activity centre.

You would be required to plan, organise, advertise and see through weekly events. A driver is required to be able to do supply runs etc

The successful candidate needs to be of a creative mindset and happy to chip in with all aspects including some cooking and cleaning. We require someone with good IT skills who is able to design event posters. A good knowledge of social media is also desirable

The hours would initially be part time with a good range of flexibility and some home working is possible
