Anyone who knows me - really knows me - will tell you that I’m a big Salinger fan, and it’s because of his mastery of words. This is my all time favourite quote which simply proves that words really do matter:

In the heart of Scotland’s tender land,
Lie Rutherglen and Cambuslang, so grand.
With histories rich and futures bright,
They bask in dawn’s and dusk’s soft light.

Rutherglen, where stories old,
Whisper of days in times of gold.
Ancient stones and modern streets,
Where past and present gently meet.

Cambuslang, with riverside grace,
A serene and welcoming embrace.
Nature’s beauty and industry blend,
A place where roots and dreams extend.

In markets bustling, laughter’s song,

These coming days will allow us to come together and celebrate the incredible men in our lives, past and present, with our upcoming Father's Day Tribute Video.

As Father's Day approaches, we invite you to share your tributes, memories, pictures and heartfelt messages, whether it's honouring the dads who are no longer with us, expressing thoughts for those who didn't have as much time as they deserved with their dad, or acknowledging those who didn't get the chance to experience fatherhood for as long as they should have.
