To all of my sailing buddies forget the round the island race preparations for a while check out i'm in awe of Alex and his supporters who is towing and cycling from Cornwall to Dover over the next couple of weeks. This a challenge in itself but he lost all four limps to sepsis......GO ALEX!
After 15 amazing years providing florals for weddings I have retired, after a stroke in Autumn last year. The wonderful memories and contrast between hot marquees on the banks of the test to frosty mornings teaching workshops for Christmas.
I'll miss you all venues, colleagues, fellow suppliers, cake makers, photographers and celebrants.......but most of all I've realised recently the celebrations we've been involved in creating.
My thanks go to and for continued support.
Wishing you all a Happy Christmas. The final months of 2023 have been disrupted from work with a major stroke, which left me speechless unable to read write walk and all normal day to day routine activities . This post will come as a surprise to some but with the love and support of the stroke team, Eastbourne Hospital my family and partner I have been able to dedicate the hours to rehabilitation. The vertigo, sickness, hearing loss, and right sided weakness feels permanent. BUT what I have realised,as I type this for myself the brain is a complex organ, able to repair . Be kind to people you meet everyday you do not know the battle they are fighting. Thank you mostly to and the whole team sticking me back together.

We ❤️working with the team not only do they provide the most amazing backdrop ….they work tirelessly to provide perfection. We work incredibly well as a team fuelled on early mornings, by bacon brioche rolls….and coffee. Congratulations to two local families to Lexi and Will for the most stunning peony, hypericum, crysanthemum and santini floral wedding….bet the party was a blast!
Last weekend gardens we were chosen to provide the most incredible florals for and . From our initial meeting to our final cleardown it has been an absolute joy…we were excited that they tracked us down and delivered a botanical feel to the interior of the Jubilee Hall. If you have never visited the gardens it really is worth the trip with such a character and charm of its own. We loved the Moongate in gold and pampas with that touch of neon lighting. What a pleasure….
Back for a sun drenched wedding with cool shades of blue. We repurposed the pew ends after the ceremony to enhance the top table and listened to warming up as we set up. polished that silver and the room was set with an entrance by look at that blossom!
Oh how I love a toffee rose …..or toffees….Caramel chocolates and Percy pigs!

Eeny, meeny,miny moe……which archway should we take to for their showcase next week. We are excited to be a prefered supplier at yet another wonderful wedding venue in Hampshire. We can’t wait to showcase there next weekend and will post more about the mood boards and wonderful displays we are creating.
What I live about January is searching through last years photos to show our 2023 brides what we can do. We love the start of a New Year and meeting all of those planning their weddings. We are showcasing this weekend Saturday 14th January from 11-3pm.
Find us in The Orangery with a host of talented suppliers. We’ve opted for dark grey table linen, burgundy red with a hint of caramel and toffee…..all delicious!
And just like that we’re back! Our first wedding of 2023 had a combination of silk florals by and wonderful fresh for the intricate bridal work and buttonholes. We will be out of office tomorrow as we attend a funeral but know that we are working through the many quotes that came in over Chrsitmas (and maybe a few before when we were sinking under folaige mountains)

It's been a long and relentless struggle but with the support @peacefulpsychopt and @calpol21 I'm recovering from the stroke last August .....I can not praise this PT enough for encouraging me to do my best......with the wedding season approaching my floristry friends have provided support beyond belief to step in where I've been unable....take each day as it come.....but never give up !!

Even the weather had a Tuscan theme at @hersey.johnstone wedding. Team Jude performed in sweltering heat with a tight window between marquee completion and the church ceremony to place over 400 candles into this stunning #tablescapes Yes those are lemons on the “lemon trees” all individually wired to guarantee their colour! A pop of yellow rose, yellow Alstromaria and lime green “mind your own business” scattering of echeveria completed the look @victoriablashfordsnell took over the running of the party and by the sounds of the warm up of the band - a triumph of a wedding!
