I think everyone can appreciate the clean, timeless look of a white and green colour palette. My bride Amy came to me with some beautiful ideas wanting modern, elegant designs to decorate the venue.

Mechanics behind a floral meadow…
Here I’ve shown a snippet of the mechanics I’ve used to create this floral meadow for Charlotte and Ismail at @yorkshireweddingbarn. No floral foam needed. This way the flowers go straight into water and I can reuse these mechanics next time I build something similar.

Bouquet tip…
Have you thought about what will happen to your bouquet after you’ve finished holding it for photos?
Ask your florist to put a vase out for yours and your bridesmaid bouquets somewhere in the venue. They can sit in vases to decorate a space. On the bar, guestbook table, on a fireplace, wherever you like!
So much has gone into making your bouquet and filling it with the most beautiful flowers. I’ve been to weddings where the bouquets are just put down somewhere after which is such a shame. Make the most of them and reuse them to decorate another space in a venue. This is perfect if you want to preserve your bouquet too… keeping them in water is going to help the flowers stay fresh for you the next morning.
Get your maid of honour on the job of collecting the bouquets to put in the vases once your finished with them!
