Spa-rkle: Pamper Party 🎉 🧖‍♀️ 💅🏻

Talking about what makes us happy. Self care. Designing sleep masks. Nails. Chocolate face mask. Hair braids. Dancing. Cat walk.

We did a lot but couldn't have stayed there even longer, chilling, chatting, dancing (and have the glitter tattoos- next time!)

This was the first time I've done anything like this for more than just Isabella, but it certainly won't be the last.

Spa-rkle will become a half termly event for all little ones (remember this is NOT just for girls!).... watch this space!

🛑SPA-RKLE CANCELLED TODAY 🛑

Unfortunately, due to the snow, I am having to cancel today's pamper session. I am gutted but I need to keep everyone safe.

I have messaged everyone booked on and will reschedule another session- but just in a different venue.

Sad I didn't get to have my final day in the Pop Up shop, but so happy it finished on such a high yesterday!!

When you become a parent and they say...

“Hold on to the tiny moments and cherish the little snuggles…. They grow up so fast!”
.. it really is true!! Life seems to triple in speed when you have children.

I know this from my three, but also when looking at the babies I have taught who are now in primary or secondary school (or the secondary school students I taught who are married and having their own babies!!!). Last night was a prime example.... Jared first came to my classes as a newborn and now look at him!!! He may have grown, but it was so lovely to see the bond we had when he was a baby and toddler.

Whether it's in my classes, or out and about in town, I love seeing the little ones I have taught and how they are growing up. They all have a place in my heart 🫶

What can I expect at Stardust classes?

At Stardust your little stars will be developing a wide range of theatre skills and social skills, developing their confidence, building their self-esteem and making new friendships.

Through drama and imaginative play, movement and song, we will be going on exciting adventures, exploring a range of imaginary worlds and 'real world' situations in a fun and safe environment. Each class is based on a different national event or special day, such as Unicorn Day and Talk like a Pirate Day, to name but a few!

Our high energy and fast paced classes are designed for children aged 2-4 years old.

During our 40 minute classes, your little stars will:

-learn to express themselves clearly

-develop strong social skills

-build self-confidence

-develop teamwork and cooperation skills

-flourish in their performance skills

-develop their speech and language

I love what I do... but sometimes it can get very lonely!!

Not today!!!! It was amazing to join forces with one of my most favourite people... Laura 🫶 she truly is one of the best human beings I have ever met! She's funny, kind, caring.... and is the best story teller EVER!!! I thought I was good at reading stories.... she tops me 100%!!!!!!

What a cracking start to the week!! 💫

Just three sleeps!!! 3 sleeps! THREEEEE SLEEPs!!!

🎬ALL THE WORLD'S A STAGE- THE MOVIE PROJECT

This exciting project will be running over 5 mornings, culminating in a short film!

Open to all children aged 7+, you are welcome to attend as many days as you like... and you will still feature in the final film!

2 hours each morning means that it is perfect for children who struggle with full day activities, and is a great opportunity for parents and carers to enjoy a coffee, mooch around the shops, or a walk by the river, in the beautiful Knaresborough.

Comedies, histories, tragedies and love stories.... we will be exploring them all, in an accessible and fun way!

This week's Hurrah the Star went to Rosa!

Rosa first came to a class of mine when she was just a few weeks old and has done drama classes with me over the last couple of years (as well as celebrating her birthday with me this year and last year!).

When she first started the Saturday Starstruck club she was very nervous, hid behind her big sister and hardly said a word..... well, roll on a term and she is the most confident in the room! She opened the show with her line and sang every word so loud and proud!!

Well done Rosa! You're a superstar 💫

Christmas is all about spending time with loved ones, twinkling lights, cheese boards and, of course.....the BBC animation of a Julia Donaldson story!!

This year it is all about Tiddler... the little fish, with a big imagination (just like my little stars!!)

Laura from Painting Pots, and myself, are super excited about this and want to share our excitement with you all with our joint drama and painting workshop!

Telling Tales with Tiddler- drama & painting with Stardust AND Painting Pots!

Join Ami AND the fabulous Laura from Painting Pots at the Pop Up Shop in Knaresborough for an afternoon of Tiddler... the little fish, with the big excuses!

Don't be late like Tiddler.... this awesome collaboration of painting & drama will be the perfect activity for after Christmas.... but places are strictly limited. 

This will be a lovely afternoon inspired by Julia Donaldson's book and will include story time, games, drama and you can paint or clay foam your own little fish!
