OK. Here goes. A speedy, and not very well put together New Year's Eve message.....!! A huge thank you to ALL of my gorgeous wedding couples for booking me and/or having me deliver their wedding ceremonies this year - and a big shout out to all the great suppliers and venues I've worked with from Nottingham to Hexham - what a blast we've had with such beauty and romance!!!!

A thank you must also go to all those who've booked me for funeral ceremonies and celebrations of life.

I've shared some epic stories, been at the heart of people's important days on their life journeys; continued to learn about humankind, been grateful for many things (especially longstanding friendships); and met some fabulous new people. This year, I've been extremely lucky to have not had many dramas. It’s been more about new beginnings.

Together with Simon, I've had the good fortune to enjoy life. I've embraced the sea dip, the beach walks, the local community, the fab bars, restaurants, arts and music here, and actually getting out of bed for the sunrise (NEVER thought I'd say that).

Not looking forward to a diet of lettuce and bananas come the first week of January, but every single pound gained has been as a result of thoroughly enjoying time with family and friends.... so thanks everyone who's made a huge effort to come and see me and Simon (and Luna) in our new home. It's been an awful lot of fun.

Happy New Year, all. Hope 2025 brings peace, calm, joy, opportunity and plenty of fun. Life is for the taking. Go forth with a smile, gratitude, optimism and a brave heart.

Huge smiles after Thursday’s wedding ceremony at Sandburn Hall Golf Club, near York. Hannah and Miles had a totally unique humanist ceremony complete with oath stone vows, wishes cast into pebbles by family and friends, beautiful poetry, a great story and an epic singalong as a finale. Hankies well used for happy tears, and big grins all round… congratulations Hannah and Miles - what a joy! Lovely to work with Steven Heath on music and James Thrner on video again.

Just going to leave these here. Just beautiful. If you want a meaningful and memorable wedding ceremony, with laughs, tears and 100 per cent connection and care, give me a shout. Racha and James came over from their home in Tennessee to James’ home town in North Yorkshire for a gorgeous multicultural wedding day at Ripley Castle. A Moroccan / English / American melting pot of cultures, languages, style and traditions. Absolutely gorgeous. Top team of suppliers and an absolute joy to be their celebrant. Congratulations Racha and James.

A completely unique wedding ceremony for Jono and Rach at the fabulous Baltic Centre for Contemporary Arts . Zero wedding traditions followed. Just 100% J and R vibes. My absolute pleasure.

What a beautiful wedding in every way! Congratulations to the gorgeous Paige and Giorgio, two world class professional ballet dancers, who gave me free rein to write a romantic, lyrical and very poetic wedding ceremony that referenced all kinds of things not normally associated with humanist ceremonies.

Every ceremony is lovingly crafted for the upmost individuality following an in-depth planning meeting ❤️ ❤️ The magic certainly happened with these lovelies. A visual dream with an overload of emotions. Pure joy.

Congratulations Lauren and Tom - what a fabulous couple - with a love story that started at school, when they were just 15! Live music and a family and friends warming of the wedding rings to “all you need is love” were the icing on the cake - laughs and beaming smiles and tears of pride and meaning - an absolute joy!
